This is a part of a remix with other SID instruments, we only use the original music files with it's original Instruments in a modern studio setup to provide the best possible audio result - To archive this we recorded all channels independently, split them by instrument type and cleaned up the samples from digital distortion as good as possible. At last we mixed and finalized the music track with our studio gear by TC Electronic and Universal Audio. Hope you enjoy the result ! - Ігри
35 years later... it's still a masterpiece.
Great Scott! Has it been that long?
I remember recording it to a cassette to listen it with my walkman 😄👍
Probably THE single greatest piece of music in the history of videogames.
LOL. I like it, and it brings back fond memories. But the greatest? Hmm, I'm not sure about that. 😃
Im sure of that 😆
Absolutely
Might be, for me it is Central Park.
Rob Hubbard made some crackers. Delta c64 and commando c64. Belters
2024 & still a masterpiece, timeless classic
I still get goosebumps to this almost 35 years later.
same here
Same, i even listen this at the party 😁
On my running fitness list! Gives me ninja magic up the hills!
Me too
I remember this soundtrack, it was truly goosebump causing awesomeness. The game was brilliant too. But the music made it.
RIP Ben, to those from this era of gaming he was a legend ♥️
Soundtrack of my childhood, thank you Ben and may you rest in peace, your music lives on and has touched the souls of many!
one of the best soundtracks ever for c64!
agreed... :-D
@@Naviaravideos The best thing about some of these sid soundtracks is that they sound even better than the remixes. It's like they were meant to be only on 8 bit.
@@storminboy that's true... !
was just about to post those exact words
I havent heard this for over 30 years! Amazingly my brain extracted this almost note for note and i was air playing it like i was 10yo again. The brain is an amazing organ!!!
It's great finding happy memories attached to an uncomplicated world isn't it? The power of nostalgia.
It took me back to my Pye CRT Television and brash nylon carpet.
R.I.P. Ben Daglish
Nr. 3 C64 Composer
The Last Ninja Nr. 1 OST
Great Artist
thanks for all the memories
I can still SMELL the plastic of my C64 when I hear this music. RIP Ben.
RIP Ben...
me n my cuz spent hrs on this game...R.I.P my brother may u be in heaven kicking ass...like the good old days ...miss u man....reminds me of u everytime..🥺🙂
Ben Daglish and Anthony Lees, we miss you😎
so epic a game, played it during my childhood. Legendary machine C64 and legendary tape station
The graphics of this on c64 are incredible. The detail that went into those sprites
No remix sounds as good as this. It was like it was meant to be SID and nothing else.
what was once a technical limitation became a style on it’s own right.
@@LarsTragel-zh7ei it's in stereo, per the title. I quite like this one, but the original is also super dope! So many good memories (and bad). Trying to jump on rocks across a pond with zero depth perception. Hah, so frustrating!
I like the Instant Remedy remix.
@@petrus4 Not heard that one. Gonna have a listen now thanks.
@@storminboy There are so many remixes of this song, the one for the next level, and the Central Park song from Last Ninja 2...some of them are outstanding.
So well put together. Been a regular fave ever since I heard it back as a teenager. This tune will...stay a while, stay forever.
#insider - Mission Impossible :)
@@DBenX *Impossible Mission, but close :)
This isn't Impossible Mission.. 😂
@@ShamblerDK edit// damn, you were right - it's Impossible Mission xD
Thanks Ben. Thanks for your music.
Brings back memories when I played this originally on the C64. One of my favourite tunes on the C64, what a masterpiece of composition. Sounds even better to hear this again. Especially love the section around 1:05 where it kicks into life.
Your music was part of many childhoods past,
we thank you so much, your life end too fast,
while the kids were listening to your great nipper track,
you tried to fill the naughtyometer like jack,
your SID tunes sounds from one roof top to another,
as fast a biggles fights from them tougher,
you often seemed restless like a jumping mole, then
I say goodby monty and good bye to you ben,
I' really miss every last ninja fight,
in 8-bit music your the SID-Future-Knight,
as a kid I waited for every gremlin release,
as an adult I can only say:“ Ben, rest in peace!“
damn, blips and bloops just brought a tear to my eye and goosebumps! just teleported me 29 years.....awesome thanks
After all this year… i still love this. Always did.
Wow nice c64 theme, never played this though, remember the ninja craze in the 80's, there was another game on the c64 named 'ninja' around '86 but could never finished it
C64❤️ niektóre kawałki, commando, ik+, były tak zajebiste jak Last Ninja. ❗🇵🇱
AWESOME FROM AUSTRALIA, Ben you're a legend!
Music is important in The last Ninja, because every stage/level has its own music and...the sound without music is pathetic, it's near of existence. But sometimes, silent is good. the composers have managed to give us pauses with intimate music, not everytime a music with rythm, as I remembered.
Music and graphics were the first positive impression when I discovered this game (a demo, the first time).
Ben D, the legend and immortalized, and for most of who experienced his sounds will know his legend lives on. Thinking of you Ben, thank you for the music! rest your soul!
Sound of my childhood.
Me too :) The best of times :)
Let's face it. Anyone who played this back in the 80s knows this song note perfect.
What about those who played this in the 90s like me? We all started with C64 in the 90s here in east Germany.
@@nichderjeniche Well, it came out I think in 88 or 89, so there were probably a lot of people who played it in the 90s. The comment wasn't supposed to discriminate against anyone who didn't exclusively play it the year it came out
Classic score and game from '87. Me and my big brother had the game on floppy disk.
Ben is a Master! This song still rulez!
Still sends shivers down my spine.
epic soundtrack, the best I`ve heard on 8bit, I always envied C64 users the SID sound chip. Greetings from ATARi 8bit geek
Oh those memories!
Truly a masterpiece ❤
The greatest series on the C64!
Oh my lord , I can smell the C64 keyboard ⌨️ I played LN 1,2,3 about 35 years ago I upload it with tape . Unforgettable memories 🥷
They hired real trained musicians for these games, who would go on to do great things. Besides being some kind of chip-tune, this is a masterpiece. Harmonies and pacing is what you would expect from someone who understands music.
Iam 46 now and still know every god damn sound of this track- just one of the best for me together with lost patrol
The best 64k of the history wonderfully squeezed!
It will forever be.
Loved this when I was a wee kid .
Also the soundtrack of my youth.... never got over the stones on the first run by the river or swamps.. this requires pixel precise jumping.. :-)
when i first played this game just the music alone made me fall in love with it
i used this track to work out... this is the best!!! 8bit music!!
This one beside the music from "Platoon" are the very best sounds ever ceated on the Commodore 64!
All hail Ben Daglish!
Simply amazing !!!!!
oh memories ...
🎶I want to be ninja🎶
Sounds awesome!
Thank you :-)
The nostalgia is total ! HAHA Thank you!
Wow! Legendary! Very well job done! Congrats🎉
The Last Ninja soundtrack is the perfect background music for Ghost Of Tsushima as well.
and such an epic soundtrack
magic
Another belta thanks 😊
Love this so much
Excellent!
I had trouble steering my ninja cause I had to wiggle to the music ^^
Still an absolute Banger!
Awesome upload!
Thank you :-)
Great Tune! :)))
Yeahh !!
Now, it is known, that Anthony Lees passed away too...
WOW!
Programmers used to be true WIZARDS in composing game soundtracks 😍
Superlative!!!!
Still love it 🥰
I'm in middle school again...
It's a slapper!
From İstanbul C* 👏👍👏👏👍👋

Hi I was wondering if it would be okay to briefly use this music in the background of the intro for a video I'm making a out ninja games.
you can use this track as long as you disable monetaziation .. and mention the remixer.. thank you..
It like drungs
Loved and hated this game, 11 year old me never could finish it
agreed.. the controls are horrible making this game harder then it should. We played it anyway :-)
Really sad that the standard C64 came without stereo.
I know the Amiga was technically superior because it could do samples, but the Amiga version of this sounds like an afterthought, a quick port that sounds too generic. The SID instruments actually sound more true to the game’s setting.
It‘s true.. also for my taste the music of some Amiga ports spund not as good as the C64 versions.. If I compare both soundtracks I definitely would go for the C64 version.
'Stop_Sc_Trollogy?'
its no cybernoid 2 or hawkeye tho...
Yep, It's MUCH better 🔥🔥🔥
Ma mrš ovo je remix.
