As a real estate agent, this person should know better the dues and don'ts of fixing a house - Фільми й анімація
As a home inspector, I can tell you that the unpainted doors are the least of the troubles in that house. I'd really like to take a look at the electrical panel, heating and air conditioning systems, roof, attic and crawl space.
100% cosmetic issues, clearly a dumb remodel. If that's the worst of it (no mold, no moisture damage, no structural or insect issues, good electrical, etc.) then the house could be a bargain for yet another cosmetic remodel flip!
I mean if the cosmetic was half assed I could just imagine the quality of the unseen issues.
Thanks for reaffirming my position that I would rather live in a subdivision with an HOA run entirely of Karens before I buy a flipped house.
Lmaooooooooo. Thing is.. I live in an HOA neighborhood….. and flippers sneak their way into here too somehow 🥲
I would never buy a flip house. You know the sellers are spending the least. lipstick on a pig
Looks like a really badly done "cosmetic flip"
All things considered, what you pointed out is just very minor stuff.
Knowing better is one thing, caring is another.
1:54 You had me at "it's special..."
Why do you sound like the Vancouver Carpenter?
That house is a hodge-lodge of Habitat for Humanity Re-Store 1-offs, recycled, & salvaged materials.
Wow- you are not kidding. They made some bad mistakes !
Is the flip supposed to be finished?
I would assume because they are at the point of inspection that it would be.
Ok after watching the video further there's no way they could think that this is a finished house. So why the inspection so soon ?
Sorry video quality is just too low, its unrespectible.please go there with video lights and better microfibre and camera stabilizer
Lol such an entitled request
Being blurry and jiggly at the same time - instant motion sickness. Thanks.
Owner could have spent $100 and got enough hinges and door handles to fix most of that. I would really not have an issue buying that house (pending a solid inspection of the electrical and AC) as I would have sanded down those upstairs bathroom walls and repainted, then removed that backsplash in the kitchen and put up something much nicer.
Is it still on the market?
I have a home I am looking to sell when I get some work finalized. Problem is..I've run out of money.
The house will be safe and sound and clean..but it won't be as pretty as I had planned.
Just as this house shown, my house will be great for someone to pick up for less.. and can finish what I am unable to.
They took all the lightbulbs home and giddily noted the increase in profits on a spreadsheet with no cosmetic defects
Great rental this guy is a big baby . For the right price I’ll purchase
You give credence to the term slumlord
Slumlord
I agree with day. Buying a rental at the right price is a great idea. Why not?
I have told my kids as they are out looking for their first house most of the time I will not recommend buying a house from a flipper. There are great people out there that know what they are doing but honestly the majority of flippers don’t know what they are doing. Most of the buyers are so amped up in a competing market they go in with blinders as in this video if it’s this bad cosmetically can’t imagine how the systems are in the house. As a former licensed real estate agent I would see it all to often. I would rather have a house 60 years old in a original but maintained condition then something that was covered up I’ve also been around most phases of construction and maintenance for the last 40 years I’ve seen such crappy work on 5 million dollar houses that were new. If you don’t know what to look for find someone that does before you buy.
I noticed that there was a lot of people commenting on here that these are minor gripes and sure, a lot of this is cosmetic, but the point is if you want to sell a property for top dollar, you need to at least try to make it look finished so I beleive the sarcasm is justified. Whatever they were asking, if I was even considering making an offer, I would low ball it big time for this incompetence but only after I got a proper house inspection. If there are this many obvious cosmetic flaws, what is hidden underneath!?!
Complains about the craftmanship and yet he is too incompetent to even video it properly.
The video bouncing around so bad gave me a headache
Todays market: $6,000,000
that house is not bad, if nothing falls apart when you tug and pull. and can't pull up the floor by pulling at the corners.
All the shades shut...so people don't see its vacant and break in?
I love how you're telling this guy off for being uninformed or knowing better, than say something stupid like that.
Why the sarcasm for an 'agent/owner' flipped property? I only ask because I am a prospective buyer looking at a flipped agent/owner property. I've already noticed that downspouts are completely incorrect. We had a recent rain storm and because there is no sump pump or proper drainage system in the home, the crawl space got completely flooded. Thoughts? Should I stay away? Thank you!!
Actually, nevermind sorry. Totally get the sarcasm now. The agent should know better. Completely agree.
Exactly. You took the words right out of my mouth! The agent should know better...
@@ChaseWalseth about to finish the inspection tonight with my inspector, now that it's been drained out. Wish me luck haha. And thanks again!
stool ??? does he mean toilet pan , at least they put new doors on
Toilets were called stools for a very long time, I don’t know why, but that’s all my parents called them, and they were born in 1924… however, I’ve always called them toilets. 😆
Flip homes are done on the cheap 99 percent of the time unless it’s some fancy mansion I would never buy a flip house I would rather buy a house that needs a lot of work
Not to put to fine a point on it, this house is in that condition. The lipstick was not Mary Kay quality.
He didn’t look at a single thing that is actually important. When you buy a house you should be more concerned with the bones not the cosmetics.
They tried me but no first the sink in the kitchen was loose red flag for me
This is awful OMG
Boy this guy needs to grow a pair! What a WHINER!
Exactly like all the things he mentioned are cosmetic things. Once you move in you can change. If you got a good deal fix all those little things yourself dude
He's in the wrong business. Listening to his comments, it sounds like someone ran over his dog or something. He should watch house flipping shows, not do them. He's too whiney to actually deal with the stress of flipping a house, even one in great shape like this one. My advice is he should go to his safe space, have his special someone fix him some hot coco, and he can watch cartoons all day. He is not equipped for house flipping.
This looks more like a rental, and the agent/owner fixed the damage on cheap just to sell it.
Man. I'm glad im not married to you! That house is in better shape than mine!
Well that’s nothing to brag about. You must be really messy…….
@@carolwood9270 ya I'm just lazy. I know I need to do better
@@Large_Marge_Sent_Me_ marge you made that comment three years ago, you must check this video on a regular basis……am I right……or am I crazy….
@@carolwood9270 I have notifications turned on for when someone comments on my comments
I don't understand why people call really bad flip house? What flip house mean?
Flip houses are homes bought cheap then renovated to get a tidy profit for the investor.
@@bjgandalf69Thank you very much and now I understand
Awful cheap and basic
Whining the entire video. The home is in far better shape than most flips. Put your big boy pants on and fix what you don't like. Or call it a day and head back to your safe space. But please stop whining!
thank you for the laugh!
Are you serious? Did you even look at the important items? If you were paid for this inspection and ignored foundation, roof, septic system, insulation, heat and air system, plumbing, and wiring, you should refund your fee. Maybe its time to have real inspectors inspect the inspectors.
I've seen far worse
