Now this looks awesome. Plans and even a video "walk through". Perfect. I'm considering building this for my kids. Wood prices went up crazy but still. I'll have fun building it, kids would have fun there afterwards.
Excellent Job! We did a similar style 6'x8' playhouse with a deck about 8 yrs ago for our then 5yr old daughter. Lots of great times/memories!!

I really enjoyed this video. I am thinking about doing this but modifying it slightly to make a better coop for my chickens! My husband and I are both very inexperienced with building projects though; I'm a bit intimidated to even start. Great work though! Your play house turned out beautiful!

EXCELLENT job dad AND MOM,lol.. I actually made 1 for my 10yr old dghtr, not as nice as yours , but COMPLETELY outta scrap wood that I gathered thruout a couple years,,and about 10 pallets taken apart.. Worked out good, I grew up making forts ALL THE TIME.. Again great video, much appreciated, needed ideas for the roof
The only thing that I would have did differently is put plywood and then the exterior paneling. Looks great though! I don’t do electric so I am just going to run an outdoor extension cord and put in a window unit. I want to do one a little bigger and put in 2 windows and a door. Great build. You earned a new subscriber! 😎 I’m going to go with pink and purple for the outside, pink inside with one rainbow wall. My daughter is intellectually disabled and autistic and I think she will love it! Thanks for the idea of building a playhouse

This is a cool project. My one concern for small children would be the rope used instead of wood rails. It seems even unaltered in its current state could be a strangle hazard.
