Lost in this is Jen. I loved her saying "This is your favorite" during the birthday shout outs. I always loved the interaction between her and Mark (Going to Mexico again??). It was always sweet. like my old guitar playing bud used to say "i dunno, man". tough act to follow.
I was really bummed on hearing about your leaving but, Wow Gibson made a great decision to hire you. Congrats and I know you will do an awesome job there. Good Luck Sir.

I lived in Kalamazoo Michigan where the original Gibson's were made. I knew several people who worked there most are gone now. I wanted to learn how to play the guitar, I bought some bad used ones where the action was so high I couldn't all the strings down to play a g cord. Okay I went to a SRV concert after that I put my guitar away. Then I started to watch Mark and guitar of the day. I got my old guitar back out trying to learn something, then I put it back in the case and haven't opened it up again. Mark ( spider fingers) Agnesi thanks a lot. Lots of history with Gibson I wish you the best, and I will miss your GOTD.
How is someone gonna replace the amazing charisma of Mark freaking Agnesi? Haha

The director seems not alien to ideas or synergy, and your particular touch could really turn your historical sense into classic guitars from Gibson, appreciative as you are of finding the common practice, which is what master luthiers learn.

Best of luck in your new job. You are the perfect man for the job and I have said more than once that you have really given me an appreciation for Gibson acoustics. After all of the troubles Gibson has been through in the recent past things are finally looking up for them again now that
henry is gone. They are a great American company and I think everyone is rooting for them to come back in a big way. It will be exciting to be a part of it.
