- The Denver Broncos get some great news in the AFC West. Before they head into one of the more hostile environments for a week one matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, the Denver Broncos actually get quite a bit of news and takeaways across the AFC West.
1.) Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs look very beatable. Even with incredible starting field position, the momentum of a home opener, and some of the most questionable calls I've ever seen, the Chiefs BARELY beat the Ravens. Isaiah Likely backs this take up as in his post game press conference he said " If this is they best that they got, good luck in the postseason"
2.) The Baltimore Ravens defense is so skilled and complex. Mike MacDonald doesn't have even a fraction of this skill on the Seattle Seahawks defense and he hasn't had time to build to this complexity. Facing the Seattle Seahawks in week 1 is really the best possible situation for Sean Payton and this Denver Broncos offense to be in.
3.) Several national reporters are finally starting to pay attention to how potent the Bo Nix and Sean Payton combo could be for the Denver Broncos. They didn't cover this team at all in the off season and as they binge to catchup with the stories they are starting to see we have something special and young cooking. Bo Nix is going to run this system as Sean Payton wants it be run and that's great news.
4.) The Vegas Raiders don't scare me in many places, but their defensive line is the best in the NFL. With the addition of Christian Wilkins, they truly have 3 players on their line who warrants a double team every play. Today we get a report that Malcolm Koonce is out week 1 with a non-contact knee injury. While we never want to celebrate an injury, this would be great news for our offensive line if he missed substantial time.
The Denver Broncos are back...and that is something we can all BO-Lieve in!

Im in a survivor league and im looking ahead, Denver is the underdog in basically every game, even against PIT who i believe we will dismantle. I think this seattle game will be a head turner. Our defense will just physically dominate to the surprise of the media, and I believe Bo will move the ball and put points up. It will be a convincing W Im excited!
I think our only game we are favored in is Carolina at home...that'll change after this weekend I think! I totally agree that our d-line will shock some folks and stop the run. Seattle didn't win a SINGLE game last year when they were held under 100 yards rushing. If we can do that we will win

We were actually in talks for making the playoffs last year. This year will either be like the Lions of 2 years ago when they Won and Barely Missed the playoffs, OR like last year's Texans when they went from total rebuild to Playoffs.
Exactly! Texans went from nearly the worst team in the league to playoffs in one year, why is it so crazy to think we go from 8 win team to 11?!

I was lucky coming up liking Denver and the Lakers! I loved Magic, Elway, Kobe and I hope Bo is the next great player on my favorite team for the next 12 years! That would get me to 70 years old if I live that long!

Typically growing pains are inevitable so immediate OR sustained success this year would be miraculous ........ Did we watch the same game? Mahomes had his way against that Baltimore D. Worthy and Rice ate the Baltimore secondary for breakfast and it wasn't close. Chiefs should have won that game by 30, but game one they were rusty. Who's stopping the Chiefs this year? I'm a 40 year Bronco fan and I'm asking this. McDonald may not have the players that he had, but he schemed better than whoever is coaching the Ravens D right now. Denver should be wary of that and I'm not going to be overconfident until this team proves that it has what we believe they should have. Bo hasn't done anything in the regular season yet either, and while I'm hopeful, I'm not going to sell the cow based on these overinflated podcasts. Every one of us has heard all of this before, so the Broncos need to go out and earn it. Love your content bro, but I reserve judgement for after the first 6 games.
