Really stoked for 220 new chess pieces. I got distribution in my store and the Sorcery team helped me make that happen to my small store in Mexico. We are the first in the whole country to be an official store!
I live in Argentina. New games take a lot of time to get here. It only happens when the game grows so much in print run that it is easier to get some product. When you can easily buy a game in Argentina at MSRP, beware. It means that distributors are swimming in product. This happened in FAB with Monarch (first set that reached Argentina). And we all know how that turned out. I FEAR that Arthurian Legends will be the Monarch of Sorcery (or the Fallen Empires of MTG). Having said this, I already pre-ordered a case of AL through my LGS. I love the art and I dont mind if it goes to zero. I enojy the cards, the product makes me happy.

Depends on the LGS, some dumped the beta boxes a while ago, others still have in stock. Not sure if they can still order beta from distribution but in my area many stores still have beta on shelves
@@MrCharlieBoricua LGSs were almost never able to reorder through regular distros. I personally work as a product manager for an LGS (one of the biggest on early SCR) and both distros to carry SCR (Southern Hobby and Peachstate Hobby) only sent us surveys of what we wanted before beta launched, and in our case sent us as much as we indicated on the survey but never let us restock. We ended up going thru ebay til prices were too high.
You expect a product that’s over a year old to still be available? It’s not a board game, it’s a collectable card game. Can’t be collectable if there’s an infinite supply.
Louie, you opened over 100 boxes of Sorcery Alpha, Why are you planning on opening 100 boxes of Arthurian Legends. You told us it’s a smaller set. Are you FLEXING again ?
Like any game these days, releases are too much it's led people to believe the previous set must be available same time, these sets are not required to have core sets so it doesn't matter, besides i miss the days when there was a core set, and 3 other sets a year that had a theme going, urzas, mirodin, lorewin, old kamigawa were kick ass, if sorcery goes full steam ahead it will die
I've organized a learn to play at my lgs to show people who haven't heard about sorcery and if enough people are interested my lgs might start stocking product. When no one in your area is stocking the product unfortunately someone has to pioneer interest.
One issue they have that other games don't: with only one set per year they have to keep the money flowing, which means they will HAVE to keep it in stock and keep it in print through the year. I think that may be why we saw the Beta reprints. They needed an influx of money to keep the company afloat.
Not really, you make an X quantity of boxes, you sell all those boxes. Here is your budget for the year. It is like those shop that makes all their money on the christmas week.

Is this being played weekly in stores? I'm not seeing in my area. But pauper also doesn't exist in my area, so region matters.

It is available, lots of it actually. It's just more expensive than other games.

Plenty to purchase still you just need to accept the fact that your going to have to pay for it at appreciated costs

I cant get sorcery anywhere in my state only 2 hours away in the scetchest part of ny,how do i get my lgs on board with sorcery
