Just managed to get them, also on sale 😊 91£ in UK. I couldn't get the black one or grey because I'm size 16US or 15UK. For me is pure nostalgia. I was lucky to get the top ten 2000's , crazy 97 dunk contest, Kobe 1 away. As I said, pure nostalgia. Well done for this video! Love your passion!
So thats a very subjective feeling I think. I can definitely wear these for awhile and be ok, but I think for long walks and driving, it may be better to go with something lighter.
They’ve dropped these in re releases at least 3 times over the last 20 years and the 8 was ALWAYS on them. I think the death of kobe probably had to do with it. I got the last retro in 2014 and the 8 is on it.
I need that 8 at tha bottom of tha tongue. Its an injustice to release tha crazy 8's and change tha name of tha shoe and deleate maybe tha most sought out thing about tha shoe and that's #8.
I wish he would have returned to adidas before he passed to help retro… or protro… his earliest signature shoes. Little did he know the world would catch up. ✌🏽💙👟

I always felt the adidas stuff fit his forward-thinking global POV more than the Nike stuff did. adidas could start using LIGHTSTRIKE or LIGHTSTRIKE Pro in these. But they’d need an athlete to test any changes. Maybe that’s why they remain as-is? ✌🏽💙👟
That was never happening. Kobe had to pay millions to get out the contract and had to be a free agent for year in order for Adidas to agree to the buyout.

I would put the crazy 8's up there with the Jordan 13's as far as playability. Similar traction, similar stability and slightly better ankle support
