Can anyone please help me figure out which year this shoe would have been very popular and difficult to find during towards holiday season in the region of Charleston, South Carolina? I am 41, and I have a specific memory of my brother showing me a pair of these shoes in this particular color that my mom had purchased for him that he was going to get for Christmas. I have narrowed it down to either 1992 or 1993. Me determining this will be helpful with me being able to piece together memories of mine during the time period right before my parents divorced.

I’m still watching SL72 drops. It’s simple, and it’s my favorite running silhouette. The adidas END X About:Blank “Laundromat” Pack is outstanding. The SL72 and the TRX Prototype are my favorites out of that one. I dig one colorway of the adizero ARUKU, but it’s too max-cushioned for me. I am looking at the adizero PR though. I caught an L on the adizero EVO SL, but I can wait for the broader January drop to run in it.

My Radar: Sporty & Rich SL72 adizero EVO SL - for running Bad Bunny X Messi Gazelle adizero PR - casual use The EVO SL is a runner/trainer, but it only has a traditional dogbone torsion bar. That makes it suitable for casual wear. I’m keeping my eyes peeled because most adidas drops are quiet. WB and Kseniaschnaider are my current favorites. I’m also watching for more adidas SPZL drops. CLOT X adidas as long as it comes in $150 or less. Jazz 81 and 574 are my only Saucony and NB. I don’t swoosh. I’m also looking for Clarks releases. ✌🏽💙👟
