Overview of the Thailand Pass arrivals procedure at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport in December 2021 under the Test & Go scheme. The other two options that international visitors can enter Thailand is through either the Sandbox programme or Alternative Quarantine (between 7-14 days).

I like that futuristic sound, indeed you land and feelin yourself in the year 2565.
Very informative, thank you…from Australia.👍
Very helpful!
Thank you for the information ❤️
Very helpful VDO , thanks
Great video
great info thanks
amazing what some people get away with carry on luggage. nice video im arriving early april
Thanks for the video. I’ll be flying out to BKK from the UK on Saturday and arriving there on Sunday. It does look daunting going through so many check points but hopefully things will be smoothly when I get there.
can we get an update? xD
@@powdermuaythai it was a pretty straightforward process. Just like in this video as soon as I got off the plane I walked down just before passing through the immigration check I got ask to sit down and have all my documents out ready. Documents they required was my PCR test certificate, travel insurance, my hotel & most importantly the Thai covid pass. After that they check all your documents & proceed to the immigration area & after that collect my luggage & headed straight to the arrivals where the hotel I booked with collected me to take me to the hotel. If you’re going there make sure to convert your currency & buying a SIM card at the luggage area cos once you enter the arrivals they won’t allow you to do so meaning you’re on your own for that.
Did u mean Medical insurance or travel insurance?
Fai, you govt. Sheep..Baa baa
Thanks 🙏
FYI to anyone who watches this video, DO NOT exchange any money in the airport, the rates are horrendous and the fees are through the roof.
Very nice information
Thanks for the video are you allowed to go down to change your money near the train station before traveling to your hotel
I miss my country 🤗
What is the sequence for the paper work?
I’ve got a flight from Norway to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, and another flight a few hours later to Ubon Ratchathani. Can I take a PCR test and do my quarantine in a hotel in Ubon? Or do I have to do the test and go scheme in Bangkok?
Thanks for the video , i thought you could only land in phuket!!?
Helpful information did I miss something in the video?
I will go to Bangladesh next month from Tokyo by Thai Air. As my transit is at Subranabhumi airport, do I have to pass through all these processes?
Do they look through your carry on bag?
So far i booked hotel w marriott and flight. What is my next step please. Where do i buy the medical insurance, how do i get a thai pass. In what order do u do everything? Im so nervous ill make a mistake
Hello , thank you for this upload. Please explain to me what is the difference between the two: test and go , and sandbox? I am arriving to Bangkok International airport Suvarnabhumi, in the afternoon and spending overnight in the hotel near the airport, to go in the morning on to my next international flight. It is a transit actually with overnight stay, due to flight timing. Which one of these would be suitable? I will take a PCR at home, and it will be about 24 hours old when I arrive (end of March). Towards the end of the video you say - "This is where you find your hotel." How do I book a hotel a month before my travel, a hotel that would be here, and I would find it here? Please let me know, if you can. Thank you!
This would not work! In order to enter Thailand, you need a Thailand Pass QR code which requires a hotel booking + PCR test. I would recommend transiting through ICN, NRT, HND or SIN which have much easier procedures.
Maajabu
Do they also scan and check PCR test report on arrival?
Yes
Best / easiest /quickest experience I’ve had at immigration in 30+ years. Not sure how this would work when it is busy.
It was pretty straight forward when I arrived at suvarnabhumi airport. Waiting time wasn’t so bad even though there were quite a queue. I think the whole covid Thai pass will be scraped when the Thai government decides that it’s pretty safe to travel now. The only off putting is having to self isolate in a hotel.
This isn't much use to me when I'm going to hotel prison though.
@@ianpearson8976 it just depends what sort of covid Thai pass you’re applying for. Because we did ours over a month ago we had no choice but to isolate for 5 days. But now they’ve changed new rules so now you can just apply for one day which means you just stay at the hotel for 1 night but you can only leave when you take a swab test at the hotel & you get your results the next day.
@@faili2133 yes I think soon most restriction dropped and only one test on entry not two
@@ianpearson8976 I think the whole Thai pass scheme will be scrapped soon now that they’re allowing visitors to only stay in a hotel for 1 day. The only issue I had during my 3 weeks stay was having to wear a mask which was unbearable especially walking around in the heat
Good day, I would like to ask what are the requirements in BKK for transit only.
I would like to ask the same question...plz help us🙏🏽
Domestic transit on a separate ticket is not possible. I believe there are some special designated flights for intra-Thailand connections.
International connections may be possible but would be rather very complicated as the check in agents at your origin airport would most likely ask for your Thailand Pass QR Code - whether it is required or not. You can't obtain a QR code without booking a non-refundable hotel + PCR booking. It would be much easier to transit through other asian hubs like NRT, HND, SIN, ICN.
Definitely would not attempt international connection on separate tickets.
what kind of medical insurance is ok? I have only domestic EUROPE insurance and i want to know if it is ok?
There are more rigid and specific requirements that need to be met in order to obtain a Thailand Pass under the new process that just opened recently.
They require that your medical cover cost is over 50,000 USD. I’ll be travelling to BKK this coming Saturday so I’m nervous myself when I land there
@@OnTimeReports Could you list them please? or redirect to the place that request them
Thanks for the info
No, it is not. You won’t get a Thai Pass without the correct paperwork. There are recommendations on the Thai embassy website, although others are available. I just paid up because I couldn’t be bothered with extra stress.
I don't have a smart phone, can I travel to Thailand without one? I just have a computer and a very old cellphone.
buy one!! we re in 2022
@@beyondthestars4299 Life was more simple before smart phones , they have a place in the modern world but too many people have become a slave to the phone where their faces are buried in the phone and they can't even have a conversation face -to-face conversation with someone .
When I travel , I would rather have paperwork instead of relying on a phone that can break down when you least expect it .
Yes you can. Although I had all my details on my phone you can still use the old fashion way & print all your documents. Just make sure you print your PCR certificate, your travel insurance & most importantly your Thai covid pass with the QR code.
@@philipmullins6235 I seen a funny cartoon in New Yorker magazine, a man was at his funeral,in his coffin, you could see he was holding a cell phone. I guess that was just in case, there is life after death on the other side and he wanted to text someone.
I want to travel again internationally , any country that makes entry too complex , I give it a miss and go to a country where the entry is easy .

Is there atm near by currency exchange or before immigration to pay visa fees

@@OnTimeReports i don't want to exchange cash buddy I'm holding cash in my forex card I just want to withdraw to pay in thai bath visa on arrival fees
Hi, how long did it take to get your RT test results?
Last Dec, I arrived at my hotel by 8.30-9am, had my result by 6pm. Depending on when you arrive, I believe they have 3 time slots where results are handed out - early morning, then by 3pm and then by 8pm. As soon as you have the call to say you are ( hopefully) negative you can do what you want
@@CoolstixDave ohh that’s great. Thank you
The words SCHEME and SCAM look and sound quite similar.Think about that!
Can you go home instead of going to the hotel?
Not straight away, only after a negative pcr test. Around 6 hours in my case.
Rescue if want
24 hour Un.
Which airline was this ?
You’ll have to wager a guess
Still don't want to go even if the flight was free. love Bangkok but walking around with a face mask in that heat.
No thanks
