Suvarnabhumi Airport, literally 'golden land' also known unofficially as Bangkok Airport, is one of two international airports serving Bangkok, Thailand. The other one is Don Mueang International Airport, which was the main international airport from 1924 to 2006 and transitioned in 2007 to become the low-cost airlines hub for Bangkok. Suvarnabhumi covers an area of 3,240 ha (32.4 km2; 8,000 acres), making it one of the biggest international airports in Southeast Asia and a regional hub for aviation.

this gives me so much nostalgia, I used to travel to Thailand so me and my family could go to Laos and meet our relatives, this was the airport I usually would arrive at when I was a kid.

Bangkok Airport is so big if u ever go to this airport make sure at least go 3 to 4 hours earlier otherwise you will mis your flight thank u love from Pakistan ❤️🇹🇭 Khap Khun krap 🤗

I still miss DMK Don Muang the airport I first flew into Thailand. It had more character. BKK is cold and sterile, steel and glass. Nothing about it gives one a sense of being in Thailand. There is very little Thai architecture, or murals or statues, etc. Such a long walk from the gates EVA uses. But I just travel with a carry on so it is doable.
The departure hall was jammed when they were allowing those massive chinese tourist hoardes.
Best food choice for a casual traveler is Magic Food court down on the ground floor. That is where the employees eat. Crowded often but gives one a taste of Thailand

Yup, Suvarnabhumi is haunted tho because few construction workers die there during construction of this airport.
