Came here after watching No Country for Old Men.
Yea that exactly what I was going to say away thought about that but the Ramsey would need a bigger piston that comes out 3 or 4 inches or you would have to find a a steal bkack pipe one that's small enuf to fit in where the cylinders for the piston and the bering got to be perfect not lose a litte snug but you need it to be able to pass tru but that be like makeing a pre cartridge muzzle loading shot gun with a single buck load and probably ileagal

I have a few more deadbolts to destroy with the Ramset so as soon as i find a free door i will do the videos...
A couple 4x4” would work fine as a simulation door frame. You could hold it in an additional vise, next to the lock, or lay it flat on a table and clamp it. BTW, if you’re in the US, there is a place called “habitat for humanity” that has a bunch of used doors(and other home construction items) for super cheap.

The police use an entry tool that uses a 12 guage shotgun round. It usually blows the lock completely out of the door. But I was impressed with the Ramset.
Jim Bo Breaching rounds, just powders for lack of a better term upon hitting the door. They’ll have a spiked or ported muzzle on it so they can press it against the door. You can blast both hinges.
Yea id think the real focus is destroying the wood or weakening the strong points near a lock or hing and then breach it with force

I have a ramset and have defeated several padlocks and some ace locks what he is doing is not a real test he should test it on a real door.
i just use this with the nail as a form of revenge.
You blew the lock tumbler and case apart . Would that have released the deadbolt ? Or would it have just jambed it up?
allowed me to turn the whole lock with a flat blade screwdriver so I believe if it was in a real door it would be easy enough to pop it out with a screwdriver and then open the dead bolt will be easy with a screw driver... I would like to repeat this in a real door if I get the chance to I will or maybe someone else will do it before me.. Also if in a real door what would happen if it had a second attack from the Ramset, my guess is it would blow the core out, I would like to try that too..
It looks like you seized the core. When installed the screws go through the bolt assembly so you wouldn't be able to freely turn the cylinder. I don't see how this could result in an open.
Ronald Higgins I’ve tested this a few times before with the bolt in place, and found that it permanently jams the bolt mechanism. ☹️
These ramsets are amazing. Opens all most anything.
And fast & fun too...
on a real commercial grade deadbolt, the ramset will barely make a dent...100 hits and it still will not fail to a ramset.

Sure you can unlock like this, since this video I have experimented & the core gets totally blown out then you activate the deadbolt mechanism with a screwdriver... But it is also just fun to blast locks with these tools, & very easily opens padlocks & more.. Experiment for yourself then let me know how it worked out..
Destroying the lock lays bare the locking mechanism, which can then be used to open the door.
It would take a special kind of construction for a locking mechanism that seizes shut when you remove the lock by force.

Very quiet for a nail gun, when I use it outside in my yard my neighbors don't even hear it, no need for ear protection...

If you were to nail say a big sheet of steel then yes otherwise not really, this gun takes 3 different blanks min medium then yellow tips high power I would say using high power is slightly louder than low power more gun powder bigger bang … The silencer system works very well..
