Great song! One of the best from the duet.

Absolute;ly.Nancy probably got started off the back of her father - but man,she rocked.Serious pipes.
      NB,Hazelwood/Sinatra were really good together.

I am still laughing at your reaction to Nancy Sinatra. It's exactly like mine was when I heard Summer Wine and saw Nancy when it first came out. And, I am still craving that summer wine.

I remember hearing this song as a young girl. Nancy did a few collaborations with Lee Hazelwood including the songs "Jackson" & "Some Velvet Morning". She also had some other hits such as "These Boots Are Made For Walkin' ", "Sugartown" & "Somethin' Stupid" duet with her dad. Nancy recorded the title song from the James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice" in 1967. She also starred with Elvis Presley in "Speedway" in 1968.

Love the Something Stupid song she sings with her dad.

Lee wrote a lot of her best songs too, including Boots, Sugartown, I Move Around, So Long Babe... the list goes on and on. He was such a talented and original songwriter.

Thanks for your laughter, but I was only half joking. She was never quite as big a star as she should have been. She still sang great and was so easy on the eyes.

Here is the original before Nancy Sinatra did it. I was already familiar with the Lana del Rey original when the Nancy Sinatra version came out. I prefer Lana del Rey version: ua-cam.com/video/hdjKK0eVlCo/v-deo.html 💜

I checked , Lana was born in 1985 . Nancy and Lee released their album about 1966 .Lee wrote the song . Are you sure Lana did the original ?

Sweetie, no. No, no. 😂 Lee wrote this and he and Nancy performed it before Lana was even born.

Try Nancy Sinatra doing How Does That Grab You Darlin'?,, The Last of the Secret Agents?, Sugartown, Somethin' Stupid (with her dad, Frank), Some Velvet Morning (with Lee Hazlewood), and the James Bond theme You Only Live Twice.

Thank you for reacting to these two! People are sadly unaware of Nancy & Lee nowadays and missing out on some amazing music. Other ones to watch out for are Some Velvet Morning, Lady bird and Sundown.
