What I greatly appreciate about this cover is that if Mio wanted, she could've gone for a more "aggressive" version, you know, considering how good she is with "growling", like the "motto MOTTO!" parts. Instead she went for the intended version of the song, which is more sad and desperate. Some parts sung with a cutesy voice, "iiko desho (I'm a good girl)" for example, truly showing how the girl in the song is actually "childish" in her seek for attention and approval by others. And then followed by "Ne? (right?)" but with a slightly more aggressive tone which is basically asking for approval from us. But I'm gonna leave it at that. So yeah, overall, amazing voice as always Mio!

I just noticed that Miori said in the description of the video that it has a lot of mistakes an it’s far from perfect, and I just wanted to say that of course I’m not an expert but I am completely amazed by this song and Miori’s singing. It’s so beautiful, I can’t find a single part I don’t like, and also, musicians sometimes aspire for perfection too much and have a specific image of how it should be (the performance), which leads them to think they didn’t do well, but then if they listen to a recording, they see it’s actually good, it’s just that you are focusing on all the details. Anyway, if it weren’t for the description I wouldn’t have been able to tell there are mistakes (I still can’t even if I look for them), I like it a lot.
I love that miori is so good at doing the “growl” that is normally synonymous with jazz or hard rock, and makes it work so damn well in all her covers of songs where it would normally have no place.

Omg I was just listening to my Japanese song station while doing my hw and I honestly jumped and had to spare a couple of minutes for this. It's not like I had never heard this song, since I am rather a big fan of Kikuo but holy. I've genuinely not heard of any covers of this song that could deliver such emotions so strongly. The vocal is off the roof with quality, gives me chill every time she switched from being shy and bashful to completely growling. That just show how good the singer really is at using her vocal range to it's fullest potential. finally it's not just a short ver i heard it so much that became one of my favourite / best test skills song. i think your vocal skill range already killed it since last year ( the highest note is G#4 for male i think maybe G#5 for girl i don't know much about the different between two sex's range vocal control that why i thought C4 is C5 7 months ago ). however hope it's will be a masterpiece since you truly a "epic" singer and more people regognize your talent 🥰

I just noticed that Miori said in the description of the video that it has a lot of mistakes an it’s far from perfect, and I just wanted to say that of course I’m not an expert but I am completely amazed by this song and Miori’s singing. It’s so beautiful, I can’t find a single part I don’t like, and also, musicians sometimes aspire for perfection too much and have a specific image of how it should be (the performance), which leads them to think they didn’t do well, but then if they listen to a recording, they see it’s actually good, it’s just that you are focusing on all the details. Anyway, if it weren’t for the description I wouldn’t have been able to tell there are mistakes (I still can’t even if I look for them), I like it a lot.

Omg I was just listening to my Japanese song station while doing my hw and I honestly jumped and had to spare a couple of minutes for this.
It's not like I had never heard this song, since I am rather a big fan of Kikuo but holy. I've genuinely not heard of any covers of this song that could deliver such emotions so strongly. The vocal is off the roof with quality, gives me chill every time she switched from being shy and bashful to completely growling. That just show how good the singer really is at using her vocal range to it's fullest potential. It fell completely in line with the idea of an girl desperate for attention till borderline batsh*t insane. 10/10 made my day.
