What are the ethics around being a lifestyle youtuber and not a mental health content creator, while being a therapist? For example if i wanted to have a youtube channel that was completely unrelated to my profession as a therapist, do you have any tips on navigating that?
This is such a great question! I recently stopped doing lifestyle blogging and videos for this reason because I have clients find me on these non private platforms and sometimes it blurs clinical lines. To each his own though because sometimes we have to maintain our own privacy and do what we also love outside of being. a therapist. In that same breath I miss my content creation money so I may be going under a different alias to help work both worlds hahaha. Best of luck!

This helped me a lot. I'm starting to work as a full time therapist and I know social media is a powerful marketing tool but it does feel very intimidating. How much content a day do you think is good enough to attract new clients?
Thank you for creating this video. I'm currently training to become a therapist and the idea of private practice is daunting. For the age group I'll be focusing on, social media will play an important part in my connecting with them.
