Shout out and props to Mr. Adam Rupp for his SINGING to start the "It is well with my soul..." part of this fantastic effort! Don't often get to hear him doing that because of his outstanding beatboxing.
I wish i could "like" reactions more than once cuz i love to watch your Home Free reactions over and over. I don't know what it is about your reactions to them but i honestly can't get enough.
Just “found “ your station today. Love your explanation of how important music is and what the different layers are and how the layers blend together. Thanks for sharing your knowledge in such a way that the average listener can understand and appreciate.
You are the only reactor that is so knowledgeable about music. You pick up on very little note and harmony. I love these guys, but I could never tell why. They just sound good. Love your expressions & enthusiasm.
Before I say anything about the reaction, I'm gonna comment on what you said, lol... You DO have something else going for you!! Now, granted, I dont know you except for on this channel, but you have this great upbeat, energetic, positive disposition that is infectious! You're obviously knowledgeable about music given the technical rhetoric you use at times, yet not pretentious. Because of these things, You ADD to the experience of watching a reaction... and I think people are drawn to that. You never know who may be watching, and it may just be someone who smiled or laughed for the first time that day or enjoyed music for the first time in a while because of you! Okay. Now. This was once again a great, upbeat, fun reaction that leaves me anticipating the next one! I hope you have an amazing, blessed evening. Thanks for continuing on the Home Free path!
So wonderfully said and I so agree! I genuinely loved this reaction and I love this song even more because of what you have added to the experience. Thank you!
Amen please keep the Home Free coming. I enjoy watching the excitement you exude over the music. Music us my happy place so thank you for making it a little more happy.
The very high notes in the harmonies is Adam Rupp, the beat boxer. We rarely are treated to his beautiful Alto voice. This video was shot entirely in the Austrian Alps.
The high angelic voice you keep refering to is Adam Rupps :) He is a very talented singer as well as a beatboxer. We don't get to enjoy it to often, but when we do, we are blessed for sure. Nice reaction 👌
I absolutely LOVED your reaction!!! I feel this is their most powerful song, I cry every time I hear it. As a 2nd Soprano who plays electric bass and sings tight harmonies...Home Free and their phenomenal range of talents have blown me away from the first chords they sang on the Voice-Off. Thank you so much for your genuine and heartfelt reaction!
Some get it wrong that the high part you were mentioning is Austin, it's actually Adam (the beat boxer). You can tell from the tone of his voice when he sings the "It is well ..." section, you have to really focus on listening to the high notes. but the tone is the same. The other giveaway is that it is still there in the last section of the song when Austin is singing the melody and Rob is harmonizing closely with him.
I have to correct you on that - it is actually Austin (layered) on the high part as well. I have the separated Learning Tracks and you can hear each part much clearer on them
@@HomeFree_Fan_Germany I´m sorry but Bubba is correct , not many people know that Adam has a beautiful tenor voice the guys say he´s right between Austin and Rob that´s why it´s so difficult to hear who it is
@@rebeccafoust2963 But live isn't the same as recorded. You might not know what the learning tracks are, but they are the guys separate tracks for a songs, and it's Austin for the recording.

I love good music. You cannot get much better than this. My ears can hear, but will never heard what you hear. No doubt,, God has blessed you with good ears. Use that gift for his glory. I love the way you explain what you hear,, keep up the good work!!!
I was just as blown away the first time I heard this rendition of 'How Great Thou Art'. You took me back to that day Jarvis.. thank you! You got my sub.
Someone recorded HF singing this song live to a group of their fans after a concert was cancelled because of an approaching thunderstorm. Just these 5 guys standing in the middle of a picnic shelter giving a little gift of song to their fans. Their attitude and work ethic and promotion of songs that led to soul searching is unmatched.
It is so nice to have someone who actually knows how the music works and the beautiful passing tones on top and bottom. You are such a joy to hear react to music.
Love watching your reaction to Home Free. It is so real and fun. If you haven't already seen/heard Bring him Home from Le Miz he will bring tears to your eyes. It is so soulful and another one the group does is Alabama's angels among us and when they sing with Lee Greenwood God Bless the USA. Every time I hear it I have to stop and let the pride come over me. Hope you like these suggestions.
I love this one so much because Adam the beatboxer is singing and if you listen really close you realize it’s him hitting the really high notes he does the same in helpless hoping
Did you notice the "it is well " line Adam Rupp the beatboxer was singing right along with the others and holding his own. He has a pretty voice as well.
The scenery in the background is as beautiful as the singing. This was actually recorded in the Swiss Alps. Their voices matched so perfectly the glorious nature.
What i really really love is when Adam Chance hit that bass note right at the beginning of the chorus. Fantastic!!! Thats killer jumping from minor to major chords then when Tim hit it! Oh my

Absolutely loved your reaction - especially your explanation of matching vowels and timbre, which creates extra ring. I sing women's barbershop, and that's one of the things we work on all of the time. And I absolutely love Home Free - got to see them at a music festival in Wisconsin earlier this month, and have tickets for 2 shows later this year! And as someone else has probably pointed out, a lot of the high harmony is Adam, the beatboxer (who sings the beginning of It Is Well With My Soul).
Real Australian home brew coffee for me. Great reaction. I just love this. The voices, the harmonies & then the scenery & the guy who did the video. Awesome.
Jarvis, your reactions are wonderful! You are technically aware of the ins and outs of the music being performed and explain it to those of us who are not aware of what the singers are doing, we only know that we love it and feel it in our hearts. Thank you!!!❤️
Thank you for doing the reactions to Home Free. Yours is the only reaction videos that I enjoy listening to. It's real, genuine and makes me smile. Brings me joy. Thank you.

Awww I appreciate your support! Singing in barbershop is sooooo hard 😊😊😊Good for you!! Keep crushing it thanks for the support
I adore your enthusiasm and joy in the art of beautiful music.
Appreciate you!
Real Australian home brew coffee for me. Great reaction. I just love this. The voices, the harmonies & then the scenery & the guy who did the video. Awesome.
😁👏👏👏👏 This is one of my favs and YOU knocked it out of the park! Thank you 😊
Yay! Thank you!
Jarvis, your reactions are wonderful! You are technically aware of the ins and outs of the music being performed and explain it to those of us who are not aware of what the singers are doing, we only know that we love it and feel it in our hearts. Thank you!!!❤️
In this song, their harmony is so tight they sound almost like a human pipe organ, to me.
facts!!!
Thank you for doing the reactions to Home Free. Yours is the only reaction videos that I enjoy listening to. It's real, genuine and makes me smile. Brings me joy. Thank you.
I appreciate that truly!!!! 😊😊😊 more to come 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Also check their Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens. Somebody already suggested Mayday and Do you hear what I hear. Best short 😥 one is Helplessly Hoping. Amazing, all of them.
Just posted for you!!!!
Bro... again... Finally a Reaction Video with someone who KNOWS his stuff!!!
Love it... that's how it's done y'all!!!
Absolutely love your reactions to Home Free. They always take songs and "make them their own". They are phenomenal.
I know this reaction is a year old but thank you for teaching me how to listen to the music. It is what keeps me coming back to your channel.
