This piece is one that showcases the voice of Marilyn Manson in his prime. It's the best video of this performance on UA-cam, and perhaps the best everywhere. It was his brutal, on-key delivery going off like a bomb that created a sound that makes you want to jump out of your skin and move into a world that releases the pain of obsession. Obsession that grips your throat so you cannot talk appropriately is what creates the brutal honesty of volumes unreachable by the average man he sings about. He was a witch. His talent will continue to go unnoticed by the folks who cannot listen to his own reckless endangerment. The levels Manson reached is what is stunning. His grasp on modern culture comes out in his music. Anyone in a dark place listens to this for life. It's a shock to the heart. It will jolt you out of any depression and put you into a manic state if you're bipolar. You better be in the right mindset because this song takes true appreciation to understand how beautifully sick he gets that martyrs his own voice in the process.
I was there!!! Fifteen years old, I traveled down from Detroit, paid my older brother's friend to take my friends and I. I was wearing next to nothing and it had to be about 20 ° outside!
I was there. I remember Marilyn Manson ending the show prematurely by knocking himself out with a wine bottle. I was quite pissed. It was interesting to see L7 as the opening act.
I was AT this show... it was bad ass... Ive saw manson since.. once... but.. this show was epic... he ended up collapsing at the end of the show.. so there was no performance of man that you fear... but it was cool as fuck. He had the little midget dude from the tourniquet video at the show... which is a creepy looking lil cat lol
Why is it so hard to get a live video of this song? I hate how some songs there are plently of them and others there are none. Bullshit if you ask me!!!
.I was 17 at this show and it was my last time seeing them. i enjoyed seeing them at bogarts much more, before they started playing arenas.I was also suprised when L7 opened for them. at this show. I cant wait for pogo to get back to his music
To be quite honest, I don't remember. My teen years are mostly a blur. I remember the hype surrounding the show more than the show itself. I remember some drunk dude in front of me who kept getting up in his chair and falling back on us.

ha I did, way back when we was like 15. It was metal to get a ride back to my dads in his Izuzu. We did get to meet L7 that day though.
I was also there. I was more pissed that I had to listen to L7 than the show ending early. I remember a lot of booing for L7.
