The single one most underrated Iron Maiden song. This is probably on my Iron Maiden top 10 (probably around the position 9 or 10) and people never talk about it.
Our society of today is a very complexed and strange world, anyway Paul is a true metal singer with the blues in his voice, I will listen to the old Maiden records for the rest of my life because music like these keeps my heart young! greetings from holland
One of the best songs of the entire infinite collection of songs they've made and just in 1980. Greetings to whoever know this song and is listening it while working 40 years later!
This is one show I would go to if a time machine existed . I have had a bootleg of this whole show for many years , and it is easily one of my favorite live albums from Iron Maiden. The setlist is PHENOMENAL!!! I wonder why Iron Maiden did not release it, but released an EP of only six songs instead. The first two Iron Maiden albums will always be MASTERPIECES to me.
The problem with that is we wouldn't have gotten The Number of the Beast or Piece of Mind with Bruce then.... We'd have to slice time and space and split the universe into two.
@@MoisesMuniz96 in that case, Hallowed Be Thy Name, The Prisoner (my favorites from The Number Of The Beast) or few very good song from Piece Of Mind might never have been born.
I remember being a little kid, collecting Iron Maiden albums, and I couldn't find Maiden Japan for the life of me. Nowadays you just look it up on youtube :) Yay for technology!
There isn't any video footage from this concert. Maybe a short TV tour report with some interviews, but not the concert. The first solo is played by Adrian Smith, the second by Dave Murray. Any fan can notice that. Just like on the LP: Dennis Stratton's solo is first (his specific vibrato) and second is Dave's (his legato).
I love both Dianno and Bruce, stop comparing them and saying the other is shit. they have different style but Bruce is way more versatile. But Dianno made Iron maiden the first years, he fitted perfectly for these songs. I think Bruce does a great job singing them though, especially in his early days
Lilla Sked finally someone with the same opinion as me!!!! Omg its so annoying this Dianno vs Bruce thing, can’t we just agree that they are both awesome in their own style, and both contributed to make Iron Maiden one of the greatest bands ever?? Stop this.... Please!
Bruce is not way more versatile... Paul is just as versatile but in a different way and style.. If you listen to Paul Diannos solo stuff you would realise.
They should have recorded the whole concert and put it out on album. I know you can get a 16min version of it but dang it that's teaser. I saw on cd on ebay $18.99 . I was so tempted.
I remember when this was the only live album you could get for Maiden. Fantastic album cover, I wanted the t-shirt sooo badly. LOL. I forgot the album title in Japanese just says "Woman Japan" (and Japan is squeezed into a single (non-existent) character). Maiden would be 乙女 (young woman). Even then it wouldn't make sense in Japanese. The pun doesn't translate
here's Iron Maiden performing Strange World. not so easy to find live, that's why I posted it, for you guys to enjoy. rate and comment!

@@costafinkel it's one of the best in my book
Love it thanks man I dig it.
16 years later and this is still where UA-cam send you when you look for this live. Legend.
This song was made for Dianno's Voice! The best ever version live!
Better than the album version. Voice sounds stronger. Not sure how mixed this is but it's amazing.
@@youjoker9647 Yeah !
I love it too.... But I've never got to hear it with their first singer Paul Day who actually wrote the song...... And he has a great voice...
im 55...I still listen to this tune with the same joy I used to 40 years ago....!
1m 57 and do the same. 😁
Maiden's best song ever IMO

First heard it in 84. Love this album & this song especially.
First heard it in 2015 and been in love with it ever since
Great drummer, was de oprichter van deze super wereld 🌏 Band Ever 😊😊😊😊😊☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
And this is one of their oldest songs! Back to at least 76....
It’s actually my favourite maiden song I think. The lyrics (writtten by the uncredited Paul Day) are so trippy.
Live at the Kosei Nenkin Hall Nagoya 1981. Amazing performance. R. I. P. Clive Burr.
This is when Maiden sounded the best IMO. The guitars, the drums, the vocals. Perfect.
Yea this is Iron Maiden lite No Bruce no irons

Bruce is a master, but Paul makes me shiver on this song! I just wish we could have more 2 albuns with him....
The problem with that is we wouldn't have gotten The Number of the Beast or Piece of Mind with Bruce then.... We'd have to slice time and space and split the universe into two.
@@malmstring I would give up on these albuns just to have another with Paul

He could've done notb for sure
My favourite maiden’s song ever !!
Clive Burr will always be the best Maiden drummer...ever!!
🤟🤟🤟
Thats fucking true, i love nicko aniway.
Amen
Paul Dianno e clive burr.
Adrian Smith solo is fucking amazing
This version is from 1981, Adrian Smith play's the first solo and go to the tour with Iron Maiden (Killers Tour)
You can tell Adrian played it because Dave plays both solos on the album.
Dennis Stratton played that first solo.
STRANGE WORLD IS THE BEST MAIDEN SONG!!
at least the most underrated in my eyes
Opera beats it on the Iron Maiden Album but it's definitely a special song
Détends-toi il y a des dizaines de son mieux que celui-là de Maiden
One of the best maiden’s song.. with Dianno it can hear the real soul ..
best vocal performance in metal history
Oh damn... The performance of Clive Burr was truly outstanding. So much feel and the so much power. Best drummer of all. He is my absolute favorite.
Perfect song. Perfect concert. Perfect band. Up the Irons forever!
Their most sensitive, moving song. Beautiful
I remember being a little kid, collecting Iron Maiden albums, and I couldn't find Maiden Japan for the life of me. Nowadays you just look it up on youtube :) Yay for technology!
Beautiful song, my favourite of Iron Maiden!! Live version is awesome!!!
Thank from Italy
one of the best iron maiden songs !
Transition to "Murders In The Rue Morgue" is very impressive!!
The best song
The best line up
All of the time
IroN MaideN
most underrated song
This is a fantastic version of one of my fave Maiden tracks, never heard them play it live before.. Magical!! Thanks.
great atmosphere in this one and the solos are so beautiful
Every time I listen to this little masterpiece I got chills. Great song. Great band. Up the irons 🔥
Wish Paul goes back to his 20s and sing again with maiden....abracadabra!!
The best live from Maiden and one of the most beautiful lives of the world
Dianno sounds fucking great
Michael Bohlman indeed he does.
Dianno was absolutely fantastic up until around '85-'86.
3:34-3:40,the best guitar solo that gave their beginnings.
Maiden masterpice ,fantatic guitar solo
Τhese fantastic ......IRON MAIDEN....The early fantastic years......PAUL DIANNO...!!!!!!
I fucking love maiden first works ... I think they can be the best ones
Amazing...

The best Dianno's song
I had this album in high school absolutely awesome 👌
Dianno's just amazing.
AWESOME KICK ASS SOLO FROM ADRIAN ..TOTALLY INSPIRATED WITH MICHAEL SCHENKER FROM UFO ..THANKS TO ALL IRON MAIDEN !!!
KNIGHT SEPÚLVEDA Smith is the man!
I agree with you.
Adrian smith was not there in the band in 1980
my bad he had joined in 1980
Murray plays that solo is his style but also Adrian is very good
DE TODO DIBUJO I don't think Adrian wrote this solo, he joined in '80 but wasn't involved in the writing of the album
HAS TO BE ONE OF MY TOP FAVORITE SONGS EVER.
Excellent ce titre live avec Paul Di'Anoo !!! Longue vie à Maiden, up the Iron !!
middle solo is by Dave Murray. First solo is by Adrian Smith.
They are Always the best 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Amazing!...

Burr and Dianno were animals!!
god I wish they would release this on CD.
Paul Di'anno at his best, classic maiden.
Bravo Paul !
