Thanks for the shout-out and awesome review of Contour Feather! Glad to hear Firebiner, and Handled also serve you well. See you on the trails! Explore with confidence!
Knives in this class can make very effective survival kits. Loopes in the scabbard can be used to attach a flashlight. A pair of opposite loops can handle wrapped fishing line. Depending on loop size that could be upwards of 30 ft. Then, use tape to keep the cordage from unravelling. I have been using SurvivorCord with a strain relief for neck knife use, and near hands free small flashlight uses. In class, a CRMK Minimalist may also work.
I like this lil blade. ALL the reasons you mentioned plus it is good to have one in a car for long travels when you need to prepare some food and someone is still driving.
Useful to cut MREs open skinning animals or fish scales, cord, fishing line, start camp fires, shave tinder, great every day use 👍 like he said...Best part is really handy and quick to deploy really small and not intimidating to other people when you pull it out...feels good and sturdy too! I love it super cool looking

The round hole is for sheath retention and a thumb hole for close up carving work.
Is it easy to remove the belt clip from the sheath? In case I don't want it while using as a neck knife.
Purchased this EDC feather n can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the info👍🏻
The slightly larger Scout Feather is on Kickstarter right now and it’s pretty awesome as well. Thanks for watching !!
