The only clay I have is from dollar store and it is white. Is it possible to color the clay before creating? Also is the air dry clay as solid as the baked one? Thank you for your response and great job that you did.

For oven bake clay I would recommend painting it after it's done baking if you'd like it to be a specific color! That works really well. Air dry clay is very solid once it's totally dry. You can mix paint in with air dry clay while it's still soft, or you can paint it once it's dry.
