I have operated all three brands of reach Stackers. I have driven the Hyster, Kalmar and Konecraine. Out of all of those three from my experience, I would rank the Hyster 1st, Kalmar 2nd and the Konecraine 3rd.
What a great line of site you get operating this reach stacker. I never had a chance to operate any machines like these because we had the old style. with the hydraulic lift cylinder right in front of you, but you got used to it. We also had leavers with no joy sticks. They are old tech now, all are like what you are operating.
yeah, I can imagine the big difference! You used to work with top-loaders? I never had the chance to work with it but I've seen photos of it ;) Next video: removing hatch covers from a big ship(DualCam)
we work 7.6 hours but most days you can work over time if you want. over time is payed at 1.5 times rate for first 2 hours then 2 time rate after that, so some days I work 10 - 12 hours .
Hi My name is Ali and I'm from Morocco. I saw the video on UA-cam and I was impressed with the machines you have, and you also have a great team I have a question about the Reachstacker machine, how can I learn how to drive Reachstacker, and if you have a place to train...
Thanks for watching and your great comment! Ik have a few reach stacker videos where you can see me operating and Handling the buttons/stick. Hard toe train you because I'm from Belgium. Should I make training video's?
if you are imprsed and interests you wil be learn in some of port's if you will be accepted.. about 1 mounths i was in school and 2 weeks of practic in live, like this two good and brave masters of he's dutty.. don't booing yourselwes.. just take some prove..
Every company uses another supplier kalmar hyster in the Netherlands we got Vitesse also these machines are the best and most fun job in the world I worked whit the kalmar reachstacker too now I am driving a kalmar empty handler in a cleaning depot
How stable are they when turning with a load on? Never had a chance to drive one. I occasionally drive a Hyster container forklift which is not exactly an example of cutting edge tech and that thing wobbles like crazy if the load is up and you turn, especially with a loaded 40ft on.
Every container should be waited maximum 30 tons and the machine it's self is 45 tons.... So you should be okay and confident in your work and operations.

I don't work with ships like you .I work with trains that go to and from the port.
Is the crane moving down the tracks as sirens are on
Coolest job ever
1:30 are containers 'loose stacked' in yards/ ie. No twistlocks?
+Martin correct, only tank containers without bottom rail are stacked with twistlocks on the yard.
how many did they order... what happened to the others??? scrapped???
so are the red and blue ones gone??
Super very nice 👍👍👍👍👍

hsvenforcer These are pretty stable, you really have to drive like crazy to drive on 3 wheels. It rarely happens that people get these on its side!
Every container should be waited maximum 30 tons and the machine it's self is 45 tons.... So you should be okay and confident in your work and operations.
@@IronWolfOz the machine's weight is 70 tonnes, its absolute maximum capacity is 45 tonne, not that any operator would ever lift 45 tonne.
How can I get training for this, along with crane operating? Looking for a new career.
Co the huong dan nhung nut dieu khien o tay trang kho
