    My Disc Planner:
    My disc planner is a "happy planner" product. They are available at their website thehappyplanner.com, and they are also at my local Joanns and probably other craft stores as well. My planner is a combination of a dated 2020 planner (classic size, vertical layout) and two happy planner blank notebooks. I took some of the blank pages and the dividers out of the blank notebooks for the sections in the back of my dated planner. I also purchased a happy planner hole punch on Amazon. I purchased my planners and notebooks at Joanns, but here is a link to the same products on the Happy Planner website:

    Hi Brenda, I have been enjoying your FlossTube for a year now and have enjoyed following you. So much information and inspiration this past year. I really enjoyed the explanation of your planning and journals. So much information and, again, inspiration. I started Planning last year due to keeping track of life and that age thing (and I'm only in my 50's!). My stitch journal suffered but I what I did track was helpful. So thank you for the time you take to do these videos. Here's to a happy, healthy, productive and peaceful 2020.

    Lots of pretty stitching - very inspiring. You got my decorating ideas spinning. Almost all of your pieces would look so cute framed in white in a fun grandkid room. Teal walls with white trim, apple green large check curtains, vintage quilts and fun happy colors. You may already have a room like that - you definitely are drawn to happy colors. Thanks for sharing as always. Hope you have a wonderful year ahead - less headaches and more stitching and family fun. Happy stitching!

    I loved the planner section, I keep a bullet journal too, but don't have so many stitchy pages. I just keep track of my wips and I write down what I worked on everyday.

    Thank you for sharing your planner ideas. I have been using the Bullet Journal method for 8 years. It worked great for me in the Corporate world and still is very effective outside of that world. I teach Bullet journal classes at our local bookstore as well as offsite locations for teachers and local businesses. You have been so generous in sharing your ideas and stitching techniques that have all been very helpful to me. I do not have a UA-cam channel but would like to in some way give back to you. If you ever need assistance with your bullet journal layouts or would just like to know more about the bullet journal method and how to apply it to your everyday please let me know. I would be happy to have virtual sessions or any other way that is most convenient for you. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

      Thank You Lisa!!! Wow, a bullet journal expert!!!! I only discovered bullet journals about a year and a half ago, and they are working so well for me. I need to take the time to do a little more research and find ways to make mine even better, but I seem to just never find the time, lol. I will organize my thoughts and make a list of questions I want to ask you. I am writing your name down in my bullet journal right now!!!, LOL

    Thanks for sharing your methods of keeping track of events in your life. I use Goodreads to keep track of books I have read and want to read. At the end of the year I can download the information to an Excel spreadsheet with all the details including title, start date, end date, author, ISNB, and many other details. Then if I want to print it off I can. i also have a 5-year journal from Levenger. It has just a few lines for each day, but it is fun to look back at previous years to see what was happening on that date. I have a couple of my grandfather's old diaries, and they are a treasure to read.

    Your explanation of your journals was most interesting and gave me food for thought. All I currently do is a monthly list for knitting and cross stitch projects I have completed, but that might just change. I especially like the Sunday sit down to reflect back on the days of the week. I am 73 and am sure that would be a helpful brain activity.

    Hi Brenda, lovely to see all your amazing stitching, you accomplished many finishes throughout the year. Let it Snow is a particular favourite of mine, I have stitched it myself but don't particularly like the frame I have it in so may be changing this. I would be interested to see how you FFO yours. Also love the pretty colours in the Soda Stitch designs.

I don't stitch the same volume that you do, but I want to track my projects and this gave me lots of ideas. Thanks for making all 3 videos! So fun and interesting to watch! I have a 3"×2" photo printer that uses Zink based adhesive paper (Canon Ivy). This might be useful for the retreat pages of your journal to help you remember people's names. Hp also has the Sprocket mini photo printer. Hope that helps 🌹

    • @Handworkmaniac
      @Handworkmaniac  4 роки тому

      Thank You :) I don't mind sharing at all, but I pretty much showed you almost all the pages in this video. I hand draw my pages, I don't use rulers or templates, just free-hand draw the lines and the lettering. And I learned everything I know at bulletjournal.com. I use a combination of colored pencils, brush markers (like Tombow, although I mostly have an off-brand), and the Staedtler "triplus fineliner" markers. I use the Pigma Micron black markers to "draw" the layouts of the pages, usually an 05 or an 08. And my favorite pen to carry with me for the every day writing in it is the Pilot Juice .38 pen. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
