Thanks I appreciate that. Yep for me the older the better, I don't much like all the computerized stuff. We come from a different era. Thanks for watching
Tinker you knew your shit 50 years ago when I met you at Choppers Inc and you passing this knowledge on to the younger guys is what it's all about. Keep it up bro.
Uh oh that's not good. I'm guessing you put dot 3 or 4 in it. The caliber's are easy to rebuild you can get the rebuilding kits either at Harley or J&P, Dennis Kirk etc. You will need to flush that wrong fluid out asap. Not that it's gonna help any but all of us have made mistakes, so your not alone brother. I made my share.
hi my first harley 2004 flstci been watching your stuff fir awhile now live in londonderry northern ireland and do my own work as much as i can sorted cam chest out whats your take on the external breathers 43000mls on mine no oil on air filter worth talking about, always keep oil level between half and full dont do big mileage anymore was thinking of putting catch can on stock rubber hoses with a tee behind air filter see how it goes whats your thoughts maybe do a vid on this topic lot of conflicting veiws out there keep up the good work take care
Thanks for the question. I absolutely hate dumping oil back into the engine through the carb or throttle body. I've kinda messed around with putting a catch can on mine for years. I haven't found away that I like yet. I've seen other guys do it, I just haven't found the way I like. When I do I will definitely do a video on it. Lord knows dumping that oil vapor back into the engine doesn't do the engine any good. Glad to hear from the Emerald Isle home of my ancestors. Thanks for following the channel and ride safe.
