Hey, great video! i'm rebuilding one myself, from the frame up, to get it registered as a motorcycle, so i can legally throw a 70cc kit on it, and hit the roads (the netherlands). I took many pictures to ensure i'd be rebuilding it the right way, with all the wires sitting in the right spot, but my phone broke, so the pictures are gone. Your videos show me just what i need to know what i'm unsure about the cable routing. Cheers !!
Hi Gary, fascinating video. You know I don't know very much about engines and the like. That's why I watch your channel and Ali's. There's nothing to the scooter as you said. I was amazed. I got this Piaggio scooter mixed up with that famous Italian scooter. If you or any of your viewers can remember the name of the Italian one I'd be grateful. It's driving me nuts that I can't remember. You'll be impressed, I even watched EVERY advert!!! How impressed are you? Hope you and all your family are well. Stay safe buddy. Matt.
I recently stripped a Piaggio New Fly. To get the front fairing off you need to start at the rear light. It’s all covered in a way you will not be able to get to the screws otherwise.
That looks really nice and clean now gary that g101 is amazing stuff i use it for everything even upholstery its like a magnet to muck i sware by it i believe i mentioned it to you when you first started out doing videos keep up the good work mate 👍👍👍👍
Just bought an NRG - a bit scruffy so very interested to see the strip down and tidy up. Always dubious about power washing all the electrical components though
Hi Gary, my mate used to have a 50cc Thomas dont kno if you know them and i had a 50cc Honda XR8 i think it was many years ago now. Great fun. I bought my son a Yamaha PW50 shaft driven 2nd hand for £70 did it up and sold it for £300. Didnt need much doing either. Hot stuff them PW50s
I got the same bike, haven’t been running for 14 years but would like to get it running again. Bought a new batter and Tried to start it and get it running but it cuts out after releasing throttle ideas on what could be the issue?
@@ProjectMan by chance you also have a video where you show how to disassemble the engine block? I need to clean the carburetor and the filter, it is an old ngr power of mine that has been stopped for some time and I would like to put it back on track
I have the same scooter, light, blinkers and everything stopped working. Still starts on kickstart. If somebody knows what it might be i'd be very thankfull.
