I cried watching this series. The last time I watched this , my mom, dad and brother were here. Thank you for uploading this series. Reminded me of happier days.
41:04 Idyllic village and cottages. Beautiful automobiles, splendid horse (Fred), ducks on the pond, Cute Humphrey + aging French playboy. Great series.
Sooo much better than the woke crap that is rammed down our throats nowadays. A question, what the heck is Jack Douglas wearing in these? Is that a leather waistcoat?
Jacks wearing a sappers coat. A long leather over jacket was usually issued to units who did heavy and dirty work. All were issued with a boiler suit called fatigues. But this was so highly valued as it was both protective and water resistant. Therefore stolen by other soldiers when the opportunity arose. Used for digging trenches for battle protection and camp pipe work or lifting and carrying heavy, crates and equipment.
*just a friendly rivalry with the "Cheese eating Surrender monkey who leaves loads of disabled frogs in wheelchairs after devouring their legs. I And they love us too after the Americans (according to Hollywood) liberated France single-handed whilst we Great British looked on. !!!?? 😂

Too perfect, in an imperfect world, where strangers hit it off in that middle to well off village world.
Great series! Thank you for sharing this.
Thank goodness no irritating fake laughing
First time I've seen Shillingbury Tales, lovely series
I have these on DVD, but it's so much easier to watch them on UA-cam. Thanks for the upload.
This is very homely and cosy, all of the series is.
I loved this. Shame it wasn't renewed after the first series as I think it had plenty of scope for more stories.
Values above All.
Wonderful, just wonderful.
My god. If I ever get a time machine I am going back to get Diane Keen.
Not if I get to her first

It pisses me off that she left the canopy open, in English weather, really. 😂
Orange bus reminds me Mr. Bean.
Strange episode, thought the Brits hated the sight of the French.

Only the politicians.
Only the thick brits hate the French, however, if you ask them why they haven’t got a clue. The rest of us don’t care.
