Stuff from there costs less because the build cost is less, because they pay the workers pennies and there's no Health and Safety standards. A buddy of mine owned Armour Bodies (the best race bodywork anywhere, in my opinion). He moved his entire manufacturing operations there to save money. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's not good.
Are you using the ol wipe down trick before each ride to get that beautiful blue we all love to pop out fast? The yellowish brown color hangs around to long for my liking so I had to try it and was shocked how good it worked! I DIG THE PIE CUTS ALSO AND MY AKRAPOVIC HEADERS DONT HAVE THEM SO IM JEALOUS!
It's hard to believe you have a full system on your bike it's seems so quiet!! Is the leovince slip-on euro5? Hard to believe being so short and open but would expect it to be super loud
@@CaliMotoTV the single R is a detuned version of the RR motor. It also has diff internals ie larger bore, diff cams, valves. As a result it produces a different exhaust note. And titanium is stronger than stainless steel so it changes the sound of the exhaust pulse sounds flowing thru the header/ mid pipe. ECU Tuning will make a bike louder also

I think the titanium is retaining more heat than steel or stainless it has 1/4 the heat transfer of steel but maybe less heat dissipation in free air meaning the pipe will get hot ( but ) the cylinder head is not as hot as it seems tho and bike might still be ok! but still hotter I think that's how it works??? heat transfer rate of metal on metal vs free air dissipation rate in free air?

I install mine and it leaks , los like it’s needed to move the exhaust from the slip on up or down until you find the better spot to avoid leaks but still leaks a little though….. yours leaks ?? Or you put something to seal ??

just got mine installed on my 2020 S1000RR M. looks amazing. using it with a real Akra GP slip on. think it was $677 shipped. no reason to buy expensive pipes from what I can tell. Note, you can also remove the stock exhaust vibration damper that mounts up to the stock cat. that part is useless and saves a little weight and cleans it up a bit.
Leo Vinci is on the low end to begin with but good product. Yosh doesn’t have anything? The reason why the header is so cheap it’s not a single tube of titanium formed to make each header. Thus the exhaust flow is not impeded, the further down the pipe the less it matters. Did you add a second to your lap times? Doubt it. You think outside the box, try stuff, that’s what’s cool about your channel.
I have arrow steel headers but I want titanium HEADERS. I think I will look into the Chinese titanium headers. My boy has a brand new spark titanium headers for sale 500$ from Italy. Which one you think I should go with ?
I bought a set of these further to your video, ( fantastic quality) just had them fitted to my 2022 s1000r by bmw main agent where I bought the bike, they left the servo motor on the bike, removed the cables & told me no need for a servo buddy or tune. 😁happy days. 👊✊️✊️
@@CaliMotoTV Well actually I agree but for example the engine on my RS660 didn't last for long. The crank got demolished at 870km. Luckily after it happened I got an e-mail for a technical recall but if it wouldn't be the case then even crashpads installed on my own would turn the warranty into shit. Thank you for posting. I normally have two concerns when considering the purchase of a Chinese product not made to the spec of a well established company. 1. Are they designing the product from the ground up or are they reverse engineering an existing product where the original company spent $$$ developing and troubleshooting it? 2. Often (not always) when it is a knock-off you have to wonder about the quality of the product. I will be interested to see how well your exhaust ages. On the other side, to me the exhausts available for the R and RR are crazy expensive. It is like we see BMW, and the aftermarket sees $$$. Just my $0.02 worth. ymmv. I do have a question after all my gibberish. Because of the new exhaust, did Brentunning have to develop a custom ecu flash for the bike?
Bike is tuned with Brentune, no custom tune needed. Euro bike tax is pretty hefty. We usually try to support the companies that spend the time to R&D but couldn't resist to check this out this time around 😂

Materials are cheaper in China too. the Akra is made in a small country Slovenia, many probably never even heard of, the titanium they used is probably supplied by China anyway. Just think this way, China has spaceships, 5gen fighters, ballistic missiles and you think they cant do better welding some pipes together than a small country lots people dont even know exist?

Hi everyone I Had the same Headers installed on my 2021 s1000rr After 500 miles I realize it is Rubbing against Oil pan I decided not to take my chances and swap them with arrow Stainless steel That has exactly the same bracket as OEM Which I really like
I have been curious about those Chinese headers I've seen on ebay. Looks great. That said, you really need to ditch the Leo Vince exhaust. It has an internal dB killer, that you can't remove. A real power killer.
@Cali Moto TV no man, many of these pipes come with Euro 5 specs. Be careful; many aren't as straight through as you think. I bet your sc project pipe on your R is noticeably louder over your Leo Vince

Don't use the wipe down trick. It blued really fast.

It is super loud obviously, the mic is well hidden
The bike is definitely quieter than the S1000R. Not sure why, we're guessing it's due to the cam shift tech? 🤔

I'm having problems with the flanges . Is there an specific order ? Cylinder number two spring is too loose
Flip the flange around. Watch the video we try to explain that bit.

LV is great bang for you buck, we like it a lot better than some other products we've tried recently. The headers were for sure an experimental lol

Little did I know how crazy Ducati tax was after buying a Panigale. The cheapest quality slip-on is $1500... also curious how his header holds up.
Brentune flash is full time closed loop on the BMW. The bike fully tunes itself no need for "custom" tune

Everyone loves a bargain. Tuning. Did it require tuning?
We have Brentune. We do recommend a tune if you're running a full system. You'll at least need a servo buddy or there will be a CEL.
