As a long time Tennessee season ticket holder I can guarantee you that those seats aren't sold..There's a block of about 8 seats on either side of the box with that view and they aren't listed for sale..I have sat near those seats before and they are just empty.
As a Wisconsin fan, they actually built the upper deck to sort of "wing out" at an angle from the press box so that if you're on the top deck you can still see the whole field which I think is a good way to handle that
2:41, I went to U of Iowa, those seats are in the student section. It's first come first serve. We don't have assigned seating. Those seats probably are the last to go lol
Having sat in many old baseball stadiums, I have sat directly behind those huge iron beams that hold up the overhang roofs. Not only can't you see but now there is no room for your feet.
Those are some hilarious seats. Surprised at how little were object/structural pole style blocking seats, mostly just press-box style ones. I think the worst one presented is the Tulane one. It hits you with a triple whammy, first the press-box blocking, then the object blocking by the lights/sound system, and is in a modern updated area in an arena that can sell out.
The Iowa one is the student section so they’re “sold” but not really. My understanding is Iowa student section is GA and it almost never gets that full where it’s a problem outside the massive games.
I came here to say this as an Iowa alum. Student section is general admission, and they tend to pack it out organically, so anyone there would be standing anyway.
Im Arizona alumni, they probablydo sell those seats but everyone moves to better seats since they dont sell many tickets i would always buy the cheapest seat and just head straight for the studnet section since it always had plenty of available seats
I remember exploring a small fcs schools stadium and finding some of those types of seats blocked by the press box. I didn't realize just how common that was.
I’m glad MSU has never blocked seat views with their stadium expansions over the years… absolutely insane. Obviously most of them are not for sale in these videos, but that Oregon one was the worst, especially being absolutely full
I don’t understand why they don’t extend the press box/suites/lodges/balconies or change/alter the designs and angles. At least remove the seats & make it a standing zone area or something. Poor architectural planning lol. Idk im just an average joe shmoe
Worse yet, recent pro stadium builds/renovations also had this issue and did exactly as you mentioned to resolve the obstruction. Yankee Stadium's center field club seats being one of the most publicized examples.
I am a die hard washington fan grandpa has been a season ticket holder for 54 years and if I’m not mistaken those seats are usually sold to opposing fans because they look to be up top on Washington’s sideline and that is where they try to put all the opposing fans at!
Former wildcat here, those seats are not sold to the public. Those seats that were shown in the video were regular used as a "nap" bench for the over intoxicated alumni. (The student section is across the stadium, so students don't sit here regularly)
Washington fan here - The entire south side of the stadium was basically rebuilt from scratch about a decade ago, so that's why it looks so uniform with the rest of that section.
Been a buckeye fan my whole life and can guarantee that the horseshoe may have some of the worst obstructed areas in college football. If you are sitting under the second bowl there is a huge chance a pillar will block your view.
Grant Field in Atlanta has some steel beams on the Lower East stands that block your view...A student sitting there will constantly be weaving left and right to see around the beam.
The bad part about the Tulane one is that stadium is pretty new. All the others can at least be blamed on awkward expansions. That was just bad construction from the beginning.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I went to Tulane and they built that stadium 6-7 years after I graduated. Like all alumni I was asked to donate. I did not, though I doubt the $20 I might have donated would have fixed the problem.
As a former USC student, I can say the student section is directly across from him. USC charges $80,000 a year for middle class students to attend, makes them pay for football tickets, then shoves them in the northeast endzone. Fight On!
I wouldn't worry too much about anyone sitting in that seat at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa. For their game against Oklahoma on 9/16 2023, they sold out the stadium for the first time since 2009. And this was after removing several thousand seats when they put in a massive press box. So, that tells you everyone you need to know about TU.
Hi Cole, I am you’re biggest fan. I have two things I wanted to say. 1). I spilled my kids to you many times. 2). Can you make a video on Connor Bedard? The greatest NHL prospect of all time?
Dangggg man even got Waldo too!!!! I thought every seat had a good sight line but forgot about the seats next to the Seelye center pillars. Still better than Centrals stadium though
I have worked at the Washington stadium as event security. I hear a lot of complaints about the seating arrangement of the stadium. From limited access for the disabled to the press box being extremely old and with thin walls. Although the view is beautiful, it is actually one of the worst stadiums in the Pac12. And that doesn't even touch the rust issue.
I want to see him do other sports in the future! Would love to see him at a stadium like Kenilworth Road in Luton, England (Home of Luton Town) which is almost 120 years old and in the away stand, you have to go through a group of houses and apartments to get to your seats.
I've been fortunate enough to get close to field-level seats, but if I bought these seats and they didn't tell me they were obstructed, I would definitely wind up on the internet for throwing a big-time fit. People who buy these cheap sets likely work hard for every buck, and to get these types of seats is just disrespectful.
The Colosseum is that big imagine if you went there doing when they didn't remodeling it's seated 95,000 before the earthquake and and then she did a lot more
I hope you realize it's mostly just the mid week November games that have attendance issues in the MAC. Go to a Saturday game at Ohio or Toledo and they are NOT general admission. People do go to MAC games! This perception caused by the random cold Tuesday nights at 8 pm sucks for the conference
3:33 I wonder how many people security kicks off the flat roof every single game. damn it would be tempting to make the minor climb up there and just sit at the edge of the roof wall.
The Iowa one is the funniest to me because there appears to be zero pragmatic reason for the brick to just suddenly be stacked higher and block the view. Maybe it was the cheap way to accomplish necessary structural support, but if not why wouldn't they just keep it lower like the rest of it? lol.
Cole These Schools leave all of these Crazy seats in to Meet and exceed NCAA Seating requirements. And to Claim that their stadium seats X amount of people. Every College stadium has some bad seats. I have been in a lot of College stadiums .
Poor MAC schools... if only ALL FBS schools were required to compete 'wherever'. The solution is that, outside of conference games, it should be a 'blind draw'. Dates go in the hat, and out comes a schedule. If Ohio State had to go play at Toledo, or if Georgia had to travel to Western Michigan, it would be a MUCH more 'level' playing field and the smaller schools would get more relevance to their non-conference schedule and get to sell out their stadiums. The MAC ranks highest among all NCAA Division I FBS conferences for graduation rates. But at the expense of not being 'factories' for the NFL.
Husky fan alert that's basically an area where mostly it's supposed to be the press box area. And as of right now not a lot of people sit up there in that area except the part where you want to see the water
😆 They don't sell and nobody sits in those corner seats at Arizona Stadium. 25 yrs ago when my son was little I'd take him up to the corner seats and let him lie down on seat cushions late in the 4th quarter. 😆 🤣
Just watching the intro made me laugh. I've been by those seats at Arizona stadium. The answer is no. No body buts those seats. It's so freaking dumb that they even have them
why leave the inaccessible bleacher seats? because it was probably not worth the effort to remove them 🤣 as bad as seats are, the vast majority are only ever used by hardcore fans or fans who want to be there just to say they were there for the game. don’t forget, most of college football is being obnoxious about it which those seats allow

Thats section gg and zz i think on either side. I get ff section seats all the time, those are always empty when i look left
What a life this guy is leading.
*I would expect this seat to be free*
Naw, buy dayam sur3 on a discount
Not only that at Usc parking will be minimum $60
As a Wisconsin fan, they actually built the upper deck to sort of "wing out" at an angle from the press box so that if you're on the top deck you can still see the whole field which I think is a good way to handle that
You're telling me that MAC games aren't selling out during Tuesday Night MACtion?!?!
Maction!
Maction is the only hope we have during the week. Lol
Ngl, MAC games been lit as of late.
I'm surprised more people don't buy tickets for these seats to give to their friends as pranks.
Now that's the real friend zone🤔😂
That's too brutal, ruining somebody's football game is evil
"I just got free tickets to the kickoff classic"
*gets seat in corner*
"That explains the name"
2:41, I went to U of Iowa, those seats are in the student section. It's first come first serve. We don't have assigned seating. Those seats probably are the last to go lol
Came here to make that comment myself
At sold out games, everyone in the student section is standing up, so your view isn't even obstructed.

I remember exploring a small fcs schools stadium and finding some of those types of seats blocked by the press box. I didn't realize just how common that was.
At that rate, I would rather just stand or take an empty seat for the entire game
Spartan Stadium in general is just a mess of a stadium, thanks SJSU for the crappy renovations
Spartan Stadium is Michigan State’s stadium.
I’m glad MSU has never blocked seat views with their stadium expansions over the years… absolutely insane. Obviously most of them are not for sale in these videos, but that Oregon one was the worst, especially being absolutely full
Honestly I want to buy the Western Michigan seats just for the novelty
I don’t understand why they don’t extend the press box/suites/lodges/balconies or change/alter the designs and angles. At least remove the seats & make it a standing zone area or something. Poor architectural planning lol. Idk im just an average joe shmoe

8:14 Nobody buys but WMU actually paid someone to install those seats. Money well spent?
Former wildcat here, those seats are not sold to the public. Those seats that were shown in the video were regular used as a "nap" bench for the over intoxicated alumni. (The student section is across the stadium, so students don't sit here regularly)
The suite box at Oregon was built in the 80s. I think the bad angle was created when the south side of the stadium was replaced in 2002.
Why is there a Cincinnati flag at the Tulane stadium?
The Oregon one was the most inexcusable to me. They have a die hard fan base and a stadium that already only hold 50k
Depending on what way the wind is blowing in Laramie, that could be the best seat in the house. 😂
Freshman year at Ohio State I had a giant 4 ft wide concrete pillar directly in front of my seat.
The seats at the University of Iowa shown at the 2:24 mark is in the student section, and students stand the entire game.
The seats in Neyland Stadium are probably reserved for Georgia, Florida, and Alabama fans.
RIP Homeboy Scotty
Grant Field in Atlanta has some steel beams on the Lower East stands that block your view...A student sitting there will constantly be weaving left and right to see around the beam.

The word you're looking for is criminal.... It's criminal for them to sell tickets to these events in that seating
I wouldn't worry too much about anyone sitting in that seat at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa. For their game against Oklahoma on 9/16 2023, they sold out the stadium for the first time since 2009. And this was after removing several thousand seats when they put in a massive press box.

Northwestern has these side seats that extend beyond the end zone.
Architects should hold themselves to a higher level
I have worked at the Washington stadium as event security. I hear a lot of complaints about the seating arrangement of the stadium. GREAT Video!
The best seat is on your couch in front of a 80 Inch or bigger tv.
Some of those "cheap" seats cost 50 bucks or even more! That $100+ for a pair of tickets, PLUS another $40 - $50 to park your car!
They should just block off that usc section
The Colosseum is that big imagine if you went there doing when they didn't remodeling it's seated 95,000 before the earthquake and and then she did a lot more
I hope you realize it's mostly just the mid week November games that have attendance issues in the MAC. Go to a Saturday game at Ohio or Toledo and they are NOT general admission. People do go to MAC games! This perception caused by the random cold Tuesday nights at 8 pm sucks for the conference
Moral of the story: don’t build press boxes
3:33 I wonder how many people security kicks off the flat roof every single game. damn it would be tempting to make the minor climb up there and just sit at the edge of the roof wall.
I have it from him personally. The world Famous Kibbie Dome has NO obstructed Views.
I feel with some of these obstructed areas, maybe the stadiums could place snack boxes or restaurants…
The Iowa one is the funniest to me because there appears to be zero pragmatic reason for the brick to just suddenly be stacked higher and block the view. Maybe it was the cheap way to accomplish necessary structural support, but if not why wouldn't they just keep it lower like the rest of it? lol.

Great video
6:07 why does tulane have a cincinnati bearcats flag at their stadium?
might be their opponent that game but also the conference member flag as they have all conference member flags flying around that sude of the stadium
Immediately watched 😁
The first seat at USC is not sold for football games; perfect view of the band though lmao
Damn build the press box above the seats!
Tulsa just sold out with OU rolling into town on the 16th, so the unfortunate fans that have those seats won't be thrilled at all.
I will say with Tulsa, unless they are playing OU or OSU, there is always room to move around
I hope each of those stadiums have "that one usher" that when the fan moves to a different seat, the usher points and yells at them to move back. : )
Freshman year at Ohio State I had a giant 4 ft wide concrete pillar directly in front of my seat.
Some of those seat’s might be fine for concerts.
Lol ive sat pretty dang close to that corner in kinnick before
Well if you ever get the worst seat in Kinnick Stadium like Pink Floyd said "All in all you're just another brick in the wall"
There was maybe 50k in that stadium, he could have sat in 20k+ seats that were empty. People in California and Miami don’t care about football.
Husky fan alert that's basically an area where mostly it's supposed to be the press box area. And as of right now not a lot of people sit up there in that area except the part where you want to see the water
There are places outside some stadiums that have better views than these seats.
😆 They don't sell and nobody sits in those corner seats at Arizona Stadium. 25 yrs ago when my son was little I'd take him up to the corner seats and let him lie down on seat cushions late in the 4th quarter. 😆 🤣
Lol can't believe these seats exist. If they super cheap and stadium never sells out. Then I buy them and move once game starts lol
If someone is willing to pay for the ticket, the school would glad sell it.
Just watching the intro made me laugh. I've been by those seats at Arizona stadium. The answer is no. No body buts those seats. It's so freaking dumb that they even have them
Arizona is an L and so is usc lol
Lol great, you can see one end zone
That’s where people go to smoke during the game thanks for being a narc 😂
Fun stuff
God most of those seats look like they're a druggies dream or if somebody wants to get lucky LOL at a game
I guess he didn’t find any bad seats at the Bounce House?
San Jose worst seat is the only one id sit in
No bad seats in snapdragon ;)
why leave the inaccessible bleacher seats? because it was probably not worth the effort to remove them 🤣
as bad as seats are, the vast majority are only ever used by hardcore fans or fans who want to be there just to say they were there for the game. don’t forget, most of college football is being obnoxious about it which those seats allow
I dont love tulane🙋♂️

I think you leave seating as filler.
These odd-sized areas are filled with odd-sized bench seating.
Hmmmm, I suddenly wanna get a gf that goes to Western Michigan. Idk just an urge. 😂
bro this guy is saying NOTHING
