As a kid, I would sometimes go to the old Tiger Stadium. Always had decent seats, except one time. Somehow, I got a seat with an obstructed view. It was fine as long as I stretched my neck to the right and looked around the column. Anyway, I was a kid and just happy to be there, didn’t bother me in the least.
A part 2 and down the line a parts 3, 4, 5, etc would be needed. There is an almost endless supply of material for these videos if you use all sports pro and college, expand to other countries and their sports, and if you include high school seats you could make probably over 30 parts.
Do they charge full price for those awful seats? Or do they at least put a disclaimer on the ticket website that certain seats have obstructed views? Thank you for the video, and I would love to see a part two!
I had a behind-the-girder seat at old Connie Mack Stadium in Philly when I was a kid. This was in the 60s. Sorry - I didn't have a cell phone then.....
Please add Citifield AKA Sh***yfield in Part 2. Opened in 2009 it has some of the absolute worst views of any new ballpark. If you're seated underneath The "Pepsi Porch" or 'Coca-Cola Corner" as it is now known you will have no view of the sky, requiring you to duck down as low as you can to try to guess where the ball is going if its hit in the air. This is very similar to the mezzanine seats at Shea. And because of the real bad geometry there are many sections of the ballpark where large chunks of the playing field disappear.

No Tropicana Field on this list? Obstructed views are literally one of the defining features of that ballpark.
Tennessee's Basketball arena (Thomson-Boling) has similar seats to Neyland Stadium next door.

That was entertaining.
But I don't understand why some newer stadiums have horrible seats too. Shouldn't they have been designed better?
I couldn't agree more.
Post more ur so underrated
So underrated video
Such an interesting video! Also had no idea there were such bad seats in some of these stadiums
I miss Shea Stadium 🏟️. I had great times watching the subway 🚇 series between Yankees and Mets.
Great video!

definitely so 'fluffer' seats here i.e. some added to boost the capacity

I really think Tropicana Field is a good one that you can’t get bit by mosquitoes
Pay top dollar to stare at a wall
Do the Toronto Blue Jays technically count as an American sport stadium?
Yes because Canada is in North America.
O my god relly
