I never comment on videos but I just want to say a huge thank you! I've been struggling with these issues for the better part of two months and no matter what I did, nothing seemed to work. I had no audio, no mic, no touchscreen support, no battery status and my camera light was always on but the camera wouldn't work. This fixed ALL of that so a huge thankyou again for helping me fix my laptop!

I upgraded recently my T100TA to Window 10 and found the audio, video and touch screen were not working. I went to a "Computer Express Repair" in Richmond, B.C. a young technician guy with a cap on after two days check in and out of my device simply told me that my audio card is burnt out and could not be fixed due to its tiny size. If I watched your video before I could easily save half a hundred dollar which was spent for nothing. Thank you for your valuable information even the Microsoft support team who had once access my Transformer Book could not fix the problem. You are the best of all.

My Asus T100TAS also got many problems just after updating to Windows 10 (the version AFTER 1504): no audio, no microphone, no touchscreen support, no battery status,... You should rename the video because it actually solved ALL of my listed problems, not just the audio!🙏🏼

This tutorial is great. I had to manually install the sound drivers by going into computer management, selecting device management, right clicking on unknown driver, browse my computer for drivers, and selecting the driver folder you provided.

Yes, thank you very much! My speaker icon did not have an X through it, but I had no sound. Running windows 10, 64 bit. Messed with my Asus T100TA for about 2 hours then searched on UA-cam and saw your video. Problem solved! Very happy and relieved!

This morning, my other, 'pristine' (working) T100A started having no sound output. Thanks men! I spent 3 days to solve sound, batterry strong light and touchscreen driver problems. In Officcial web page there was only touchpad driver. meny driver packs crashed my tab. Even 4 times reinstalled windows in different ways - nothing helped, but this video

I'd given up on it, and only played audio from it via Bluetooth Audio. Your link has now rescued BOTH T100TAs-----YESSSSS! + Even more: the Taskbar Battery Indicator disappeared, 3-4 years ago. THAT, too, is now restored. Yowzah! Again, thanks much for sharing this great info & great link with others. (I'd tried e-mailing ASUS, 2 or 3 years ago, asking for help. However, the Customer Support was NUTHIN'. YOU got ASUS to inform of an Audio fix: kudos.)
My T100TA has been in a junk box since a boot trouble caused by win10 upgrade. After fixing the boot trouble yesterday, some new troubles happened again including this audio related stuff. At the first time installing, the audio didn't fixed although audio device was recognized on pc. then I updated windows to the latest version then install the program again. finally succeeded. THANKS SO MUCH!
Thank you, sir. I had no exclamation point using the MSFT drivers but still had no sound. Then I counted on Asus to have drivers on their support page. I counted wrong.
Thank you! It worked for me. It also installed a different driver for the touch pad that made the cursor around erratically. I fixed the issuse by selecting the T100TA pad driver in Device Manager.

After upgrade my tablet to windows 10, so many driver not detected, audio, batery gone, also in device manager the drivers is gone, next display can't extand to monitor external. Thanks. It solved on my win10 T100TA. It sort of induced the use of the old sound driver. It did not complete installation, but restarted by restoring the old driver. But it works. 11 Aug 2023.
my battery level was not showing up, my touch screen was not working, I was not able to adjust the brightness. It fixed all at once. Thank you very much.
