Congratulations..you've just discovered the best metal band right now..your journey has just begun..keep em coming and follow what the wolfpack reccomend you, they're not gonna be wrong..
You have just scratched the surface with no bad songs from them. They are masters of the world when it comes to music. Their live music is better than any other band that I listened to and their English has gotten better. Miyako mentioned on her UA-cam channel that the band is working on their English. Hopefully to come the State's for a visit. Warning: You will become addicted to Lovebites!!! The 2020 Concert, Five of A Kind, has 19 songs to check out. It is non-stop and pre-COVID, so the crowd is into it as well. The 2021 Concer, Heavy Metel Never Dies, 18 songs and also non-stop. With COVID restrictions, the crowd isn't into it as much but the band has better stage presence.
You did good on pronouncing names. 👍2nd single from the newest album released in February. So that is Fami on bass here. Miyako and Midori (blond pony tail) can absolutely shred, Haruna is a monster on drums, and Asami's vocals keep getting better and better. Miyako is also a classically trained pianist. The band is named after the Grammy winning Halestorm song Love Bites (So Do I). Asami joined Lzzy and the boys at Download 2019 to perform that song. Some of their songs lean towards power metal, some lean towards thrash, 80's thrash in particular. Also some ballads. They bring the heat for 2 hour shows., Here you see them in regular clothes, their stage outfits are beautiful white dresses. Princesses and heavy metal. 🤘🤘 You are going to love this band. They are awesome live too. Next , try Holy War or Swan Song (with Chopin piano intro) for power metal side. For the thrash side Break the Wall or Thunder Vengeance. All 4 suggestions live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020.
Thanks for reacting to Lovebites. You'll never regret it for sure. All their songs (60s of its) were damn good and also their MV's & 'live' performances. You'll be amazed every time..trust me. Go for more 👍👍🤘🤘

Beautiful women, stealing hearts, melting faces 😮 heres a run down of the band ; Asami, lead vocals, lyricist & composer. "M & M, " Midori ( blonde ) & Miyako on guitars. My favorite guitar duo. I think they lose a little bit of luster by not be as diverse, hopefully the next album will have a little more.
There are at least three non-power-metal songs on the new album. This song and Wicked Witch are pretty much NWOBHM-inspired classic metal, and Dissonance is thrash. The rest, though, are pretty solidly power metal.
@@garykeeling2275 👍I'll add a little to your comment.😊 "Lost in the Garden" from the same album has elements of neoclassical metal. People who are interested in classical music will feel the vibe of Mozart, Paganini and Vivaldi in this song, especially after the second verse (solo)
Welcome to Lovebites! I think you have been bitten! The Wolfpack will guide you. One of the most talented bands you'll ever find, and personally, my favorite all-time band. They do power metal, but also thrash, speed, progressive. This song seems to me to even have a little punk in it. I'd just say they play heavy metal (as Asami is so fond of saying in one video or another). This is my favorite song off of the new album. It came out in February, and they have had a few shows in Japan playing tracks off of it, but we don't get the Blu-Ray of the shows in March until August, so there is nothing live out there from the new album yet. Where to go from here? Well... Personally, I think they are amazing live. Their presence on stage, the quality of their performance (yes, the tracks have been remixed, but there's no hiding how tight and how skilled they are when playing live). Mostly I'd recommend performing to live performances. Their MVs are good (I love this one), but mostly live performances are even better, and greatly so. I'll recommend a few. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything. A few different styles from them: Their power metal anthem, Holy War. I'll recommend the lessor reacted one from 2021 (this was a Covid restricted show if the audience seems a bit tame): ua-cam.com/video/2WEkVd5JrFI/v-deo.html For thrash, I'll recommend Break the Wall from 2020: ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html In honor of the Wolfpack, and Miho (their co-founder and former bassist, who wrote this song) Thunder Vengeance from 2020: ua-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/v-deo.html And since I fee like this is is already starting to be too many, one with Myako on piano, Swan Song (with the Chopin intro): ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html That will get you started! You can't go wrong though. Pick anything except Bloodstock (bad sound there).
Honestly this is a pretty straight track from them, though it is off the latest album.. I'd make suggestions but it's better to say dig deep and enjoy the journey man! There's too much. You'll love em..
For me, any song you pick is the right next song. There are no bad songs. I can not even begin to recommend songs it would take me months to come to come to a recommendation.
Welcome bro, they are the best, lets dive for the next song The Hammer of Wrath, live Tokyo 2021, thank you for nice reaction on Lovebites, carry on 👏👍
Lovebites are one of these rare bands who are even better live than in the studio ! IMHO this is one of their simpler songs - their repertoire is extensive and very varied with musicianship that is second to none . I'd recommend " SWAN SONG " with the Chopin Intro as your second listen - but in all honesty it won't really matter which song you pick next - they're ALL bangers ! ENJOY !!!
LOVEBITES is a heavy metal band. They have songs that can be attributed to power metal. But the band is not limited to this. Since 2017, LOVEBITES have released about 60 original songs and musical compositions on the EP and LP. Approximately 15% -18% of the songs are thrash of the highest standard. Many thrash metal bands would envy LOVEBITES thrash songs. In addition, LOVEBITES play progressive, speed, neoclassical metal. Several songs are closer to hard rock (modern sound), some songs have elements of symphonic metal. You might be surprised, but LOVEBITES have an excellent classical pianist in their composition, which allows them to perform classical music. The original song "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" is most likely influenced by MOTöRHEAD, whose songs LOVEBITES have performed several times in concert. And MOTöRHEAD is heavy metal and hard rock.🤗
Yes, check out Destrose... So: Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing. In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ua-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/v-deo.html The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. “Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, from the same concert; "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html; Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html; And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. Finally, the audio tracks of some of the new album are up on youtube, and worth checking out. The band clearly came out swinging and wanted to make a statement. Every song on the album is a showcase of their incredible talent and songwriting capabilities. “Stand and Deliver” is a thrasher with a fun video of them in the studio. “Soldier Stands Solitarily”, the final song on the album, is being touted by some as the best thing they’ve done so far-I encourage you to see and decide for yourself! You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Thanks for the reaction! LOVEBITES is the best heavy metal band today, you just won't find a bad song in their discography, they are all excellent or masterpieces. I think the next song you should listen to is "Set the World on Fire" live 2021 This is the link: ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html
All of their about 60 songs are good, very good or masterpieces! Here some suggestions for next songs, all live, they play it to perfection 🎸🎹🎤🥁🤘🏼 Shadowmaker 🌕 ua-cam.com/video/wmAKRiG89Qc/v-deo.html One of their first songs, but performed in 2021 Break the wall ⛏️ ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html A bit newer from 2018, performed live in 2020 Set the world on fire 🔥 ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html From their 3rd album, performed live in 2021
I dont classify this song as power metal. It is thrash metal, which is the second most played genre that Lovebites does. They are so much more than a power metal band. Next song Set the World on Fire.
They play power metal more than any other single sub-genre of metal, but they don't play it exclusively, and this song is NOT power metal. This song is pretty much straight traditional heavy metal in the tradition of NWOBHM bands like Motorhead and Iron Maiden.
Cool reaction video, I really liked it. The surprise on your part was real, not artificially overacted. Since one is really looking forward to more. If you start with this song on Lovebites you should continue with the following Lovebites Thrash Headbanger : Break The Wall - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020 ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018. 2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany 2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England 2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium 2019 - Download Festival in Spain In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward. I've been a big LOVEbites fan for 3 years and fans never get enough of it so : S u g g e s t i o n s for next reaction V i d e o 's: (Copy the following sentence lines and enter them into the UA-cam search bar, you will find the videos) 🤘🤘 New Songs from the new LOVEBITES - LP Judgement Day : LOVEBITES music video - Judgement Day 2022 LOVEBITES music video - Stand and Deliver 2023 🤘🤘 Songs ALL LIVE !!! Thrash Metal + Power Metal + Speed Metal + Metal Ballads. 🤘LOVEbites🤘
Pretty much everything is amazing. Judgement Day is the other official release from this album and I think it's a much better song. You have to do their older stuff live. They sound better live than on the albums to me. As to which song? Just pick one. There all good.
All the stuff is good, but this song is a bit atypical of their style, being more Motörhead-influenced thrash than power metal. I suggest something with the former bassist Miho (so you see her as well), a live performance from 2021, Set The World On Fire. ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html
Sorry, but begin from the last video of Lovebites, it's like lo read one detective story from the last page! Whatever, take what their song at random, it's the same, all good, but if it's better live!
@@EmpReacts The quality of the LOVEBITES albums is excellent. On good equipment and with good acoustics, they sound great. Suffice it to say that Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios (Helsinki, Finland) are mixing and mastering all the band's albums (starting with the first "Lovebites EP", 2017). These are professionals who have worked with albums of many famous bands, such as STRATOVARIUS, NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, THERION, SONATA ARCTICA, AMORPHIS ect. Music Videos and DVDs/Blue-rays(Life) are also good . To make sure that LOVEBITES' live performances are good, watch them perform the songs live (concert videos)
This song isn't power metal (try "Judgement Day" for a more power metal song...and more ua-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/v-deo.html ) from the same album. Plenty of older material to check out too, especially live.
Emp Reacts: " Should we check out older stuff or the newer ones?"
Lovebites: "Yes!"
Me: "Hell yeah !!"

A few different styles from them:
Their power metal anthem, Holy War. I'll recommend the lessor reacted one from 2021 (this was a Covid restricted show if the audience seems a bit tame): ua-cam.com/video/2WEkVd5JrFI/v-deo.html
For thrash, I'll recommend Break the Wall from 2020: ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html
In honor of the Wolfpack, and Miho (their co-founder and former bassist, who wrote this song) Thunder Vengeance from 2020: ua-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/v-deo.html
And since I fee like this is is already starting to be too many, one with Myako on piano, Swan Song (with the Chopin intro): ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html
That will get you started!
Set the World on Fire live version
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ua-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/v-deo.html
The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc.
As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."
Here are more clips you should check out:
“Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”.
“Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, from the same concert;
"Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html;
Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html;
And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html
Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular:
"Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html
This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world
"When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
"Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html.
Actually, Destrose has some really good bangers.
Other great songs by them... Set the World on Fire, Holy War, Swan Song (w/ Chopin intro), Winds of Transylvania, and so many more.
Thanks for the reaction!
LOVEBITES is the best heavy metal band today, you just won't find a bad song in their discography, they are all excellent or masterpieces.
I think the next song you should listen to is "Set the World on Fire" live 2021
This is the link:

Haruna aka little big engine is the best technical drummer you will find
🐺🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I dont classify this song as power metal. It is thrash metal, which is the second most played genre that Lovebites does. They are so much more than a power metal band. Next song Set the World on Fire.
They play power metal more than any other single sub-genre of metal, but they don't play it exclusively, and this song is NOT power metal. This song is pretty much straight traditional heavy metal in the tradition of NWOBHM bands like Motorhead and Iron Maiden.
What ever you choose, I recommend anything live first. Start with their most recent Knocking At Heavan's Gate.
Cool reaction video, I really liked it. The surprise on your part was real, not artificially overacted. Since one is really looking forward to more.
If you start with this song on Lovebites you should continue with the following Lovebites Thrash Headbanger :
Break The Wall - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020 ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html
Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018.
2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany
2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England
2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium
2019 - Download Festival in Spain
In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona.
I've been a big LOVEbites fan for 3 years and fans never get enough of it so : S u g g e s t i o n s for next reaction V i d e o 's:

Pretty much everything is amazing. Judgement Day is the other official release from this album and I think it's a much better song. You have to do their older stuff live. They sound better live than on the albums to me. As to which song? Just pick one. There all good.
Give "Holy War"- Live a try. Its normally the perfect first listen Song 🙂
Next: Judgment Day 🤘
check all stuff
All the stuff is good, but this song is a bit atypical of their style, being more Motörhead-influenced thrash than power metal.
I suggest something with the former bassist Miho (so you see her as well), a live performance from 2021, Set The World On Fire.
ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html
Sorry, but begin from the last video of Lovebites, it's like lo read one detective story from the last page! Whatever, take what their song at random, it's the same, all good, but if it's better live!
Forgot to ask if I should be doing more live performances or videos. Definitely gotta check some live out though!!!
