My career gives me a great sense of joy. It is definitely not without its lows, but for the most part, it is fun.

Thank you for such an educative video that however inspired me in pursuing PR as a major. Presently am a final-year student at the University of Makeni (Unimak), and it is at this moment that we are to choose our major which I passionately choose the mighty PR.
But somehow, am sceptical about how this journey is going to be without that someone that will guide and teach me along the way. Nevertheless, recently I've heard people saying that all most anyone can be a PR practitioner even without acquiring anything related to the field and can work in such a capacity. And after doing my observational survey I find out it's somehow true that without any paper/documents you can work in the field and as well play the role of a PR practitioner.
I what to know how true it is and since I am pursuing my career in such a field, based on your experience; Will there be enough job opportunities for us along the way?

Hello. Here's something that can help... The more you read, the better you can become at writing. Read different publications. Newspapers, magazines, even brochures. When you read, study how they have structured the story. How did they start and how did they end. Start by writing an introductory paragraph using the 5 W's and H method. Good luck
My Name is Jimmy, I am in Uganda a professional journalist and International Relations student at Gulu University, I am interested in majoring in strategic communication or PR in my master studies, but I lacks coaching especially in the areas of writing press releases and designing corporate strategies for organisations or companies.
Secondly, do I need to learn sign language as well?
Hi Jimmy. As a professional journalist, I believe you wouldn't battle to put together a press release because you already know what the media want. Regarding corporate strategies, please watch my video on how to write a PR plan. The same rules apply. You can learn sign language to broaden your own knowledge and to be more versatile, but it's not a requirement
