Mingus Mill - Stepping Back In Time (1800s Grist Mill)

After leaving Gatlinburg, Tn and heading towards North Carolina is a little place to stop and visit. It's known as Mingus Mill and it's a one of a kind grist mill that was built in 1886 and uses a water turbine instead of a water wheel to power the machinery. The building was closed on our visit here, but you can still walk around and take in the beauty and marvel over the construction of such a simple job. So come along with me as we explore Mingus Mill.
