This is certainly a beautiful region of France. Picturesque village with an interesting history. I did like the architecture and the way the old style has been preserved.

What a lovely place that is, you imagine yourself in a kind of fairytale, beautifully kept, I didn’t know that Albert grew up here and he indeed was more than a doctor, there is so much to see here, you could stay at least a week, a hidden pearl, thxs

Hi Anita, what a beautiful enchanting historic town! It certainly was picture-perfect. It looked like it came out of a fairytale. There were lots of local goodies in the store. Yum! The castle was imposing, standing tall above the town. It was great to see the walls being maintained and preserved. I was wondering what happened to lunch! 😅 Yum again! There was no end to the 'oh another photo' moment 🤣! It was all so pretty. even the store, it just oozed yumminess and interest. Love stores like that. I'm a castle fan, ruins or otherwise ⭐️. Kaysersberg looks like a lovely place to visit. This is another place I would probably just wander the streets for hours looking at all the gorgeous buildings. That shop looked great to buy some treats as well. I enjoyed strolling around vicariously with you, Anita!

Well, it looks like we walked down the same streets again! We even rested on the same bridge. It's a lovely town, isn't it? Looks even nicer in the warmer weather when you visited! Oh I don't know about the trains- I looked this up for you www.visit.alsace/en/getting-around-in-alsace/ We are always with our own car so I don't know how the public transport is run. I do think though that there are coach tours which cover a number of these villages. The Alsace is very much a tourist mecca. Love hearing that you are thinking about plans.
