If i get a chance to visit all the way from here in Australia ill have to test drive these pubs myself at some point, the atmosphere of them all looks delightful
It remind me of when I was in secondary school and my mother came to town to shop. On my lunch hour we met in a snug, ordered a pot of tea and sandwiches and my mother also had a glass of port wine. Happy days.

Hi Mike, I know a Corcoran from Limerick, so perhaps that’s where your family is from. Actually this guy is a composer of some reputation, his name is Frank Corcoran. A wonderful super intelligent human being. If you were at all related to him you’d be of good stock.
If it’s Guinness you’re after, I would recommend the Confession Box on Marlborough Street, just north of the river. Interior probably isn’t as fancy as these but it’s full of honest to goodness Dubs, and the pints are creamy.
You in a pub I don't believe it!! (to quote Victor Meldrew 😆). They are some cracking pubs Greg, the things you must do for UA-cam it must have been such hard work 😝. I am not a pub man anymore but a quiet afternoon beer, or more likely coffee, would temp me into John Kehoe’s, which was my favourite of the five. It would be sacrilege I know in Ireland not to have a Guinness but I can’t stand the stuff, but Irish whiskey now your talking 😁
Have been in three of them but what I was thinking was the carpet in John kehoes pub Jesus it’s seen some traffic and heard many a lie, what did people think when they seen you filming or were they too intoxicated to mind .take care great video as always
Well Kehoe’s, was early in the day and so there weren’t that many about. There was no one in the back part where the stairs are, until two German couples arrived, and I got chatting to them. Many thanks for watching.
Grogan's at no 1? If you like ham sandwiches like you used to get in the 1970s, faux literary types all talking too loudly in a bid to impress total strangers and the worst art I have ever seen hanging anywhere except a creche then you will absolutely love Grogan's.
A cheese toastie and a pint in Grogan’s can’t be beaten on a Sunday afternoon. The pub doesn’t take any commission on any artwork sold in there, for this they should be applauded.
