Una pregunta, ¿qué función tienen los orificios que están en los extremos de las bases? tienen una orientación vertical en lugar de horizontal como los otros dos orificios en donde montaste los tubos del dolly. En el manual no mencionan tampoco cuál es su función. Otra pregunta, mi dolly vino sin las mariposas para asegurar los tripiés en las bases, sabes de qué tamaño son para buscarlos? yo lo intenté con tornillos de 1/8 y 3/4 y no son. Gracias!
it's sound good, what you think if have to make a 20 feet dolly long? I have anodized alluminium tube 30 mm diameter and 2 millimeters thick, is it sturdy enough?
You would need to reinforce those meters. Think that the head has a screw protruding from below and reinforcing that much distance so that the tube does not bend would not be easy. I advise you to use this for tracks up to 2 meters or 6.5 feet. It also depends on the weight. If you use a lightweight camera you can use longer bars.
Great video. Exactly what size stainless steel pipe (or tubing) are you using?
OH!!! good question... 33.7x 2mm stainless steel. In this case i use 1,50 centimetres of long.
