Wow, Helen Reddy--that's a few years ago. Good performances.
Wow, Barry is the last one alive….they all here look and sound so vibrant and young…..sadly, time passes quickly
No foolin
This song needs powerful lungs, pipes, vocal timbre and supreme harmony to make it work ... and Helen Reddy had it all.
Longing for the days of true actual musicians and real singers. Our generation was so lucky. So sad what masquerades as music or worst yet Rock today.😢
Let's not forget that this is from a time in music that the sound you heard was coming from the singer and not a machine. 9 out of 10 singers today, could not compete.
Amen brother
Plenty of people that can sing today just because it’s all computer generated means just that. Don’t get stuck in the past the present won’t be available for you in the future.
So so true !! Happy days
@@alanpreston3111 Happy days are your next days. Don’t let the Devil steal your Joy everything you felt in your past can be felt again tomorrow.
Today's music is crap , can't believe anyone listens to rap or any thing . disgusting.
Aussie golden age in rock. Bee Gees and Andy Gibb, Helen Reddy, Olivia Newton John, Supertramp, etc.
When a great singer performs a great song. Instant classic
Helen obviously felt comfortable singing with this giant of a group... She delivered it really well!!!
I miss Helen Reddy. She was a lovely artist. Prior to her death at 78, Helen suffered from Addison's disease and dementia. Sadly missed from world, as are Robin and Maurice.
I'm a Seventies Rocker too. The Year 1975 I was Seventeen years Old, wearing Bell Bottom pants 👖👖open V Neck Shirt's, & Long Wavy Hair,
For Ms Helen Reddy, She was still enjoying her Hit I Am Woman. & the World was still Calling Elvis The King. Sadly for only Two more Summers though.
At that Time the Bee Gees we're Fantastic, like so many Others were then. They Had the Talent? They got the Fame & the Celebrity Attention, which came with it. Thank You so much for the Trip Back in Time.
Wyoming, Robert, 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸✌️✌️👀👀🤔🤔😎😎👖👖👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Dude. Wtf is wrong with everyone?😮
HELEN REDDY WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES, SHE COULD CARRY A LOVE SONG! BUT, THE BEE GEES CARRY MY HEART FOREVER, EVERYONE OF THEM, SO SPECIAL! MISSING MO AND ROBIN DEEPLY, THEY WERE GONE TOO SOON! HOLDING ONTO BARRY AS TIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE, THIS MAN SINGS DIRECTLY INTO MY HEART! GOD GAVE HIM A MIRACULOUS TALENT! LINDA IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND THE LOVE OF BARRY'S LIFE! MAY THEY ALWAYS BE DEVOTED TO EACH OTHER!
If I didn't know better I would have thought Hellen Reddy was a lifetime member of the Bee Gees. Perfect performance.
Amazing performance. No auto-tune (it didn't exist back then), no pre-recorded backing tracks, the whole song was done live and carried by sheer talent.
I didn't even know what auto-tune was so I looked it up. Interesting. I was born in '56 so I just got used to hearing people singing live not sounding like they did on the vinyl record. I know it's also true that some record companies would forbid bands from singing/playing live on TV because it would hurt record sales. They were forced to lip sync.
@@austindarrenor 1956 great vintage for human beings, live this video reminding me of the good old days, when men were men and sheep were worried and musicians played instruments live
@@johnboyle3297 Lol
Unbelievable talent 😮
Obrigado pelo Vídeo . Viva à música Estrangeira. BR.💚💛
No more unique voices like Helen Reddy and Karen Carpenter. Could always recognize them in only one note. Sure do miss the legends.
Helen Reddy should be mentioned in the title for this video..she was a wonderful singer ❤️😊
Hellen Ready one of my idols from back then. The best singers ever!!
If you don't dig this you got a hole in your soul
Best bloody version ever recorded of this amazing song. Find a singer today like Helen that cue with no autotune. This brings me back to the 70s and a time when everything was the best. Artists weren't fake, they didn't stage everything and you really shared something with the artists when you went to a concert. Compare that to attending any pop concert now. Pity the kids now, they really don't know what they aren't getting.
The Bee Gees, Helen Reddy and Wolfman Jack all on the same stage...I would've loved to have been in the audience. Raw talent right there. 💕💕💕
Sad to see that only Barry is the only one left😔 Helen and Wolfman Jack gone as well. This is music is so Pure and gone forever!
I listen to this and I'm a young boy back in the 70's loving life.
Helen Reddy has a melodious voice. I love all her songs. RIP Helen 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Sloooow version, but nice to see them mix it up a little. Watching at 1.5 speed is more like the original
Les meilleurs.. Simplement éternel
Genius, Genius, Genius, and Joy, pure joy. How on Earth has the world strayed so far from the path of love and happiness when there are songs like this that are true Heaven on Earth.

Is Helen ready? ofcourse. Great to see her with the Bee Gees here. 😍 R.I.P. Maurice and Robin.
Quantos discos ?
Helen Reddy made this rendition, her emotion was evident.
Never knew this was a Bee Gees song, because its been covered so many times
Young people of today.....in the 60's 70's & 80's WE had and still have the best groups, singers, musicians EVAAH!
Gaaawd I miss those days
I had never heard of Helen Reddy before. She was indeed a great singer.
You need to watch her documentary it was pretty amazing.
Good God, I could listen to this all day long.
This is why the 1970s were great.
Indeed
But also gave us "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep!" Bits of the 70s were good musically, but there was a lot of other things to wade through first!
Mihael Jackson was also good friends with them and a huge part of the 70s, and that was BEFORE his biggest decades in the 80s and 90s
one of best decades
of music
The melodies, the lyrics, and the performers, you will remember them for all of your life.
beautiful music, not the rubbish today's youth call 'music'
That's true...every generation has its own taste....and that's good. I wasn't a Bee gees fan but I liked the music.... I am now 71....😂
Wow! Simply stunning. Helen and Barry's voices work together beautifully. A great reminder of Helen's talented voice.
Who is she. She is amazing. Love how to the boys did her style.
Helen reddy had the most unique, amazing voice..never heard it's equal. Miss her
crazy good ❤❤❤
Beautiful...
This is what music should be.... pure talent.... musicians and singers in perfect harmony
True
I am a big fan of the Bee Gees. My favorite band. Barry sings with all his heart, (he seems tired on this stage). Helen Reddy's performance is stunning. What a beauty, so pretty ! May she be in good condition nowedays. Maurice and Robin also perform well. Maurice seems happier as usally. I find he was a fine guy. His duett with Lulu, his former wife, ("First of may") was touching and was a fan of his voice.
May the 3 Gibb brothers rest in peace in heaven ! So sad that Andy died so young. He was gifted but so as many artists he could'nt fight his drugg-addiction. As he stopped, it was to late.He had not a wife like Linda, (respect Mam) who was strong enough to help Barry. BARRY stay with us for a long time !
Best wishes to all persons of the Gibb Family.
Mit Helen Reddy eine Bereicherung, super Song
Helen Reddy 🤩
The world lost three quarters of these beautiful voices. Love you Helen, Robin, Maurice, your beautiful voices are always in my mind. Barry you stand proudly and exemplary for the Gibb brothers
😀
In the 21st century, we only have musical garbage.
Verdade 😢😡
Didn't know Helen died!😢

Beutiful for ever...
Cant stop listen to this beautiful song singing by brilliant musicians
unforgetable reunion ❤
Wow, it is so beautiful !!!
The twins were great composers I reckon. Helen Reddy had a lovely voice and attitude. What a fabulous decade for music!
Helen Reddy looks great in this and Barry looks super toasted! They both knock it out. Love it!
Mom's pretty lit, too.
This was a brilliant preformance by everyone. It also showed how talented Helen Reddy really was, such a super voice. Thank you for sharing.
Tony. Spot on. Voices blend well together.
The late Helen Reddy was an Aussie and the Bees Gees grew up in the land down under.
@@MPKleiman I never knew Helen Reddy was Australian up until only a few years ago.. always thought she was an American 🇺🇸 such a super talented Singer performer ❤️
@Tony Waldron First time seeing this clip. A few things struck me. Interesting how static their stage performance was. Compared to what we became used to seeing post-Madonna. For me, this version of the song was a tad too slow and sombre. I like the lighter, wistful-yearning versions. And lastly - Barry's eyes 😧 He looked like a lost and haunted man.
@@comealongcomealong4480 Me too. This was more of a blues version of the song.
Sou Brasileiro sempre apaixonado pelo Bee Gees
Odlična stvar. Pamtim je iz rane mladosti . Vraća me u vreme kućnih żurki I plesa stiskavca.
The Bee Gees were extraordinary! Sadly they had to deal with a lot of adversity/tragedy! Helen was talented, beautiful and wholesome! Thanks for posting!
The four of them really let loose in 1975!!! Sad to think that Barry is the only one still remaining with us.
I am woman, hear me roar! Soundtrack of the women's movement. Thanks, Helen Reddy. RIP
Helen Reddy......oooo la laaaaaa!!!! I miss the 70's. I was just a little kid then, but I remember the music, the clothes, the whole way of life at the time. How did we stray so far off the path?
Muito bom parabéns sensacional ❤
Great. Reddy has such a great voice.
Helen really sang her heart out with the Boys
Wow Helen and the Bee Gees...very emotional song
How nice to see someone again again - like Helen Reddy- who was so famous at the time, but must have become a Mum and housewife or something - and ended her show business career entirely! Very talented all of them - and it WORKS. They DO sound good together!
This is real music
K urban cover is splendid
I would add that Jade Bird does this justice also!

I love this version, specially because of Helen Reddy and the humility of the trio of brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb.
Greatest performance w reddy w relaxing voice
OMG I'm sobbing right now😢❤ What a treat hearing Helen Reddy and The Bee Gees doing one of my very faves ❤❤❤😊😊. Stellar performance!! Chills abound😊
When singers could sing, true professionals.
many today can sing well, its just the 'music' they make that sucks
Wow.
Charlie Pride makes me PROUD. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.
Just found this. Sublime performance.💜💜💜💜🤘🤘🎸🎸💕💕🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic.
Better than the studio version.
The Song is never getting old, even if it is was in 1975.
Everybody was in the last week celebrating Paul McCartneys 80 birthday and honors his big talent for writing never forgatable songs as a young teenager and this is for sure OK. But we have in the same manner to recognize and seen that these 3 Brother were on the same level for writing unforgetable songs and this by the way in a younger age. McCartney born in 1942, Barry Gibb in 1946 and the twins Robin and Mo in 1949.
I mean, it is astonishing how good this is. I can't even recall the last time I thought of Helen Reddy, and she is the real deal right here.
@thelonious1234 A bio pic movie was made of Helen's life (perhaps three years ago). Haven't seen it - but could be worth checking out.
one thing I can say, all the performances that I have ever seen, Barry gives his heart and soul into the music he and his brothers have ever created
Yes, he sure does! 🎶❤️🎶
