Yoy guys are so careful not to share too much. When looking for The Old Drum bite on the Neuse River should you stay in the main river or in the creeks?
We talk about exactly we’re to find these fish in this podcast as well as other bull redfish on the Pamlico sound podcasts. 100% the main river. I’m sorry you feel that way I do the best I can to put out quality content that hopefully helps others catch more fish.
Man I feel like it would benefit the fishery as a whole, and help the state fund the position, or help make the time for this matter if the inshore fishery was broken down in sections. People who commercially fish, or guide those sections, pay to be in a lottery to get permits to fish them. Only allow a certain # of guides/commercial fisherman to fish those sections. No limit to how many places y’all fish…have seen guides pull up on a school of reds call their buddies everyone full boats keeping fish…hard to say that’s not as tough on a school of fish as a flounder net…like you said no sense in pointing fingers and I understand both sides so keep both but pay to play…would thin out the bs …I’ve hunted the Mississippi River they only allow certain amount of guides to duck hunt in the “pools” up there/our coast could be broken down to the same kind of sections…
Could not find the Inshore Tournament info on the CCANC website??
If you download I Angler and look up the tournament CCA Inshore you can sign up there and it has all the information
Any hint as to a good bait type/choice under the poppin' cork? Paddletail, shrimp, jerkbait?? Thanks
