So this past Friday I asked Herman (remember I refer to the universe as Herman)
if he could hook me up with a few hundred bucks then I let it go. On Saturday I
asked again and let it go. Sunday night between 11:30 and 12 midnight I went to
the store in the pouring rain and as I was walking looking down on the sidewalk
in front of my path was a wet envelope with what looked like a $20 bill in it. So I
picked it up and when I did I could feel there was more money in the envelope and
it turns out it contained double of the amount I asked for. I was somewhat dwelling
on wanting the few hundred and couldn't let it go completely and yet it still showed
up with double the amount I initially asked for. Things don't work out for me with
Herman the way it works for others and it makes me think that something is wrong
with me and I know part of it is due to living in westernized society.
