      Thanks! For getting around I use Google Earth, Google Maps, and Bing. I study them at home 1st. On the water if I need a refresher or location I use the same if I have signal. I also have Navionics on my phone if I need help, or reassurance, of where I am at and/or going. To get me back to launch and for safety reasons I have a hand held Garmin. I use that for marking waypoints too. This is extremely helpful because no portable electronics accurately map the back country creeks and smaller areas. So, if there is a small creek, or confluence, that is a cut through or fork I need to take, I’ll mark it and then next time out if I am confused I can reference that point.
