Just replaced my hose tonight. Took only a few minutes longer than the video. Saved me over $100 and was able to avoid being part of the "disposable society" one more time. Thanks for this!!
8:49 did anyone else accidentally bend them right as he said to try and not bend them 😂 and lose the hose clamp at least three times?? Thanks for the great informational video!
Just replaced mine! I took it apart up to the clean water hose thing and then I decided I needed help because I didn’t want to tear it up. Thank you so much!
I appreciate this video very much. Helped me replace a broken hose easily without breaking anything…lol. Bought the replacement from BISSELL for $22 Cdn but shipping was $18. But so worth it in the end. Thanks for you taking the time to post ❤️
Legend! I was going real slow for the fear of wrecking something in the process, but was able to do the job. I also needed to cut some length of the black hose to avoid it kinking, so that was a good tip there.
Thank you very much for this. I did manage to replace the hose with a new one but somehow it doesn’t spray. I made sure to meticulously follow your instructions and I even took it apart again to make sure the black hose didn’t fall off the white plastic with the clamp. The hose can’t be clogged because it’s a new hose and yet it doesn’t spray , it only suctions. Anyway, thanks. I’m thinking about buying a used one off eBay.
Although the poster makes it appear easier. BISSELL really dropped the ball with this one. Had I known how hard it was to replace I would have opted for something else. Like sr. I just wanna replace the dam hose. Not perform open heart surgery. Imma try some tape tomorrow😂😂 if not imma just have to go ahead and follow your instructions. I do appreciate the time you took to show us slow folks how to do it. Thank you l! ❤
Thank you so much. This video was so informative and easy to understand. Thank you for the blessing (barakah) and I pray YaHUaH bless (barak) you. Shalom - Kay
I followed your steps and it went perfectly, thank you! The only problem i have is that once I put it back together the clean water tank has a massive leak under it, but the hose connection works and sprays, i just loose all the ester in about 30 seconds. Could i have lost a gasket or seal or something?
Awesome video. This will save me a lot of 'trial and error' when I eventually get my replacement hose. Thanks for posting, very much appreciated. Also, do you know if there is a hose available anywhere that is a little bit longer? The original is frustratingly short.
@joezomby1 Thank you so much for providing such a clear step by step tutorial. Just finished replacing my hose and it worked like a charm. I really appreciate being able to save this one and not having to replace it.
If anyone goes through all of this almost perfectly and now your machine stops working entirely, open up the main center cover and make sure there aren’t two dangling connections that detached from the on/off switch! Just went through that and didn’t notice that I disconnected the power button supply when I was taking off the main center cover during the middle of changing the hose.
It's really annoying; where I live, replacement hoses cost $79. The entire Littlegreen Proheat Pet frequently goes on sale for $89 or $99. Not really worth the hassle to save $10-20.
Just wanted to add that my hose replacement came with a water hose that was way too long and I had to cut 5 inches off of it to keep it from kinking. For those that may run into this issue.
Does this work for the normal spot clean. I snapped my head connector today. Customer service advised me to purchase this exact hose for my model 36984. Will this exact method work on my model
You'll have to go to the Bissell website to make sure you order the right part number for your model. I don't know if the replacement will be exactly the same, but it should be very similar.
I did this repair and ran into a problem in the end. When I put the clean tank in place the cleaning solution starts leaking out of the bottom at a pretty rapid pace. Not really sure what went wrong as it was not doing this before repair. It seems like there is some issue where the clean tank nozzle is not fitting snuggly into the base. I've checked and rechecked and can't find the issue. The only thing that stands out is that there is some play in the motor position with the screws in place. Anyone else run into this?

Mine doesn't have a gasket under the clean water container, but there is one under the dirty water container.
Worked liked a charm!! Thanks for the video..

Sorry if this is a dumb question but is there a reason why you have to take the electrical wiring apart? Couldn’t you just leave it all plugged in?
Disconnecting them just gets them out of the way when you're trying to work with the water hose.
@@joezomby1 Okay thank you. And thanks so very much for the video. I have to order the part now. I’ll give it a try!
Good luck!
Great video!!!! My wires came out when I took the main green part off. Does anyone have a wiring schematic?
If anyone goes through all of this almost perfectly and now your machine stops working entirely, open up the main center cover and make sure there aren’t two dangling connections that detached from the on/off switch! Just went through that and didn’t notice that I disconnected the power button supply when I was taking off the main center cover during the middle of changing the hose.
Do you have the link to purchase the hose?
I ordered it from Amazon, but it's no longer available from that particular vendor.
Is the pump 12v or 110v ?
If Bissell part# 1600053 is the correct part, it is 120v according to Amazon.
Does this work for the normal spot clean. I snapped my head connector today. Customer service advised me to purchase this exact hose for my model 36984. Will this exact method work on my model
If it's the same hose, the procedure should be very similar.
Or know where the green ground wire goes?
Will this work for the little green pro heat?
You'll have to go to the Bissell website to make sure you order the right part number for your model. I don't know if the replacement will be exactly the same, but it should be very similar.
I can’t get my hose to spray any solution. What did I do wrong?
You'll have to make sure the wires on the pump are secured.
Anyone else run into this?
Sometimes the check valve on the bottom sticks open, try working it in and out a few times until it stays out
Careful not to lift the center portion much. Disconnected the power switch and spent way too much time trying to reconnect
Thank you sir

I’ve literally just followed this video, and now have no power to the machine when I try to turn it on. Would you know why?
Did you accidentally pull the power wires from the power switch?
I did as well. How do you fix? And where does the green wire go?
@@joezomby1
How do I reconnect the wires?
I can’t get the cover to set down over the motor housing! What am I doing wrong?
Never mind! It was a bit stubborn but finally got it down in the right place! Great video! Very clear and easy to follow! Thanks so much!!!

any idea if this part would work for model number 2513E?
I'm not sure. There is a replacement on Amazon for the 2513, not sure if it will work for the 2513E.
Did you test this?
Amazing guide. thank you so much!
