We have always had a great time at this pier. Yes it is true that the offerings are less than before but it is still a great time, esp if you like arcades and have small kids. Thanks for watching and commenting and more Gillian content coming soon so consider subscribing so you don't miss a thing.
This park has honestly gone downhill. They used to have a good amount of rides, such as an L&T Mine Train coaster, an ARM Super Shot (and before that, a rare Chance Slingshot for a drop tower), and they used to have full-size bumper cars on the lower deck. They also just got rid of their Ring of Fire that only lasted one quarter season and one full season.
I remember the mine train and it was a pretty fun ride. It is turning into more of a kids park but the log flume and dark ride still give it sometime to buy a few tickets for. Thanks for watching and more Ocean City content coming soon so consider subscribing so you don't miss it
10:00 I used to come to Ocean City all the time when I was younger and I used to sit and watch the people go down on the log flume. It’s one of my favorite rides in ocean city
The mini ride that was right outside across from the carousel and musik express I call it a mini casino. That is what I am used to seeing and calling them. Used to be able to ride it without getting sick, but the last time I rode the Casino I was sick as a dog. That sucks that the Giant Wheel was closed. That is always a tradition for my family and I to ride. Did The Frisbee ride go upside down or just like a pendulum's like The Claw, Black Widow, Delerium...etc? Here in a month I will be getting my final rides in and contemplating whether to ride the Canyon River Tours or pass on it. The ticket count can get pricy since we will want to ride the Carousel, Giant Wheel and the flume. I am preparing and getting ideas for a vlog to make here since it's closing like to document as much as possible.
@@125RollerCoaster Thank you so much. As of right now I've gotten some help by watching your videos and other people's videos. If there's something I do need help with I'll definitely let you know.
You surprise me, sir, not recognizing a Wipeout ride when you've seen them in other parks; you *certainly* saw one at Waldameer. (This one's a different color but it's still the same ride.) It's been a long time since I've been to OC, so I don't know how long the uppper deck area (containing the Frisbee) has been roped off; pity, really.
Hey, be nice. These are raw one take videos so my brain isn't always working when I film 😄 Thanks for watching and yes it was a small version of the Trabant ride.
I will see if our travel can make that happen (Great Escape is an 7 hour trip one way) but we might be able to tie it into a Six Flags New England or Lake Compounce trip. Thanks for watching and enjoying the video
Thanks for watching. That day was a Tuesday, so they might have been a staffing issue the day we went. I will be going back in 2024, so hopefully, everything will be open then
Not sure if they were consolidating cause we were there during the week or if that was a "normal" thing now. It is still a good place for kids but most of the adult rides are gone. The Dark Ride and Log Flume are still worth a walk through. Thanks for watching and we have more coming soon so consider subscribing it you like what we do
My favorite place to go to

I hope playland buys this park from them. It's really run down compared to what it used to be.
Playland could use the space, it is very cramped on their pier. Thanks for watching and more Ocean City Boardwalk videos coming soon.

Thanks for watching and sharing!! It is a fun little pier and we try to visit once a year so there might be more to come to enjoy

Good idea. Let me know if I could help

Came here to rewatch this after the news of their closure that just dropped.
It was easy to see that coming with how it kept losing rides and lack of crowds. Maybe Playland will grab it. Thanks for watching
@@125RollerCoaster Oh yeah for sure, I knew it was on the decline for the past few years, but the announcement today just hit really hard.
@ZunkleFunkle losing something you remember all through your life sucks. Thanks for sharing

Can you do a great escape fright fest walk through In October

This could very well be the parks last season…
I could see Playland buying ir, their pier is very crammed and it would give them the Morey's park win
It's not gonna be. There's no plans to sell the park.
@samlombardo1997 you are probably right but it is on the downside the last few years
@@techmansam97 I feel like that’s what they say until the change is made
You called it unfortunately.
wh is frisbee closed and why were all the rides from the top deck and bottom deck and the wipeout came back?
Thanks for watching. That day was a Tuesday, so they might have been a staffing issue the day we went. I will be going back in 2024, so hopefully, everything will be open then
That’s a Trabant. You don’t see those too much anymore
A lot of the classic rides are disappearing cause they can't get the parts for them anymore.
Thanks for watching and more Gillian content coming soon.
You forgot the man and dog show
It wasn't going on that day. Sorry
you missed the man and dog show animatronics up the ramp where the trains are
Oh man. I didn't even know they had that. I will be back someday and shoot a short on it.
Thanks for watching
Says all the rides are open but the ferris wheel.
Half the park is blocked off and closed. 😂
