Two quibbles: 1. As much as we love James Earl Jones, I don't think all that many Disney lovers would mention his Mufasa as being in the top 5 performances (at the very least, Jeremy Irons as Scar should be above him in the #2 slot; that's a no-brainer and a huge miss, MsMojo). 2. Your mention of Idina Menzel as Elsa is wholly misplaced; yes, she SANG the iconic & movie-defining song, but for voice ACTING, Kristen Bell's performance as Anna is head & shoulders above Idina's (no offense, Idina). I'll also go as far as to say that Josh Gad's Olaf probably belongs in a higher place than -Elsa- Anna on your list.
I knew Robin was going to be #1. He’ll always will be everyone’s favorite! It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years that he’s gone. I really love this countdown!! Filled with nostalgia and excitement of my childhood. Wonderful job!
That's what I love about these particular actors, None of them are professional VA's and yet their performances made their characters absolutely iconic!
unfortunately many celebrity actors like chris pratt, despite being an voice icon as well, got underappreciated and criticized when the magic of voice acting is naturally having fitting characterization in a creative way for the actor, and feels like now everything criticizes the excuse voice actor being just the voice actor
How about Bob Newhart as Bernard in the Rescuers? He just passed away at the age of 94, and was my Dad's favourite comedian, and was one of the best and funniest comedians for his role on the Bob Newhart show in the 70s. He also played Professor Proton in the Big Bang Theory and Papa Elf in 2003's Elf!
Personally: Robin Williams as Genie, Jeremy Irons as Scar, James Woods as Hades and Eartha Kitt as Yzma are the absolute top best Disney VA performances for me. 🤩😍
I quite literally jumped up and down when Scar and Mufasa were right next to each other. Both actors absolutely crushed their roles and considering they played polar opposites it’s kinda crazy that they were both so SO GOOD
Because they're always so biased and especially desperate for tons of views and followers. That's why they keep pandering and conforming to popular opinion. They refuse to be less predictable and more original with their rankings. 🙄
@@dawnieb.7394 So you don't care if it gets tiring for people like me to see pop culture groups like Mojo put obvious choices like Robin Williams at the top of lists like this all the time?

All of these actors made these characters their own. They are so iconic! When you think of Mushu, you think of Eddie Murphy. When you think of Genie, you think of Robin Willams. Jason Bateman is brilliant as Nick, and Idris Elba is hysterical as Chief Bogo. They were perfectly cast.
I'm surprised that you didn't mention Scott Weinger the voice of Aladdin in 1992,he was one of the under study, he also was on Full House and Fuller House as well Gavalevant and Blackish , and he was Co-producer of ABC's The Muppets, why is he not on list
I grew up watching Tarzan all the time but didn’t know till a couple of years ago that Minnie Driver was the voice actor for Jane Porter but it’s very obvious and hilarious once you know who it is ❤️
I think Susan Egan deserved to be on this list - the cast is so excellent that when you think of 'Hercules' the first people who come to mind are James Woods and Danny Devito, but Susan Egan as Megara was exceptional - every quote from her was said in such a theatrical and heartfelt way. Underrated performance for sure.

I recognized the majority of the celebrity voices, but I am still shocked by Jerry Orbach’s role as Lumiere. It’s hard to imagine Law & Order detective from New York as a French candlestick singing and dancing. And how did I miss Oprah Winfrey as Tiana’s mother?
To me, the term "celebrity" is a little misplaced here. Most of these people are actors first and foremost, whether primarily in live action or on the stage. And while they wouldn't have the experience of a full-time voice actor who has 30 different character voices ready to go, they're still more than qualified for a role that fits them. I have an answer for if Tony Goldwyn actually did the iconic Tarzan yell!!!!! There's an interview with Jonathan Rys Davies (spelling?) where he is talking about how he had just finished recording his lines as Clayton and was leaving the studio when he heard Goldwyn trying to do the yell (he called it a yodel which honestly fits better) and he said it sounded horrible. He asked the directors if they wanted to hear him do it because he grew up watching the Johnny Wisemuler (spelling again? Lol).
