A great gentlemanly ride on gravel road. Beautiful photography, terrific historical commentary - enough to get me off the couch. Really enjoying your channel. Looking forward to the next one.
Great vid and fantastic part of the world. Maybe you PhotoMoto or someone reading this comment can help me. Many years ago I did a road bike trip down around the New England area, and currently (2024) I'm trying to remember one spot that was notable on the journey. Up in the mountains, somewhere in the Queen Mary Falls/Legume/Tooloom Lookout area, I came across a welcome but unexpected petrol station up in the hills. I've unfortunately lost my notes and also can't find the spot with Google Earth. Just wondering/hoping for any suggestions that you may have come across on your travels in the area. Cheers. :)
If it wasn't so dangerous for you, it would be funny how the 4wds won't move over possibly because they don't want to take their tough 4wds off road. People can be so rude. Great video.
@@photomoto5228 I usually ride north of Brisbane but the tracks where you go are really good. I only have a 250 for off-road but those roads all look do able for me. Thank you so much for the information.
Excellent - many thanks for the video and map

Really enjoyed this, Peter. Cycling through an area like this must be extra enjoyable. How far was this from where you live?
About 140 kms tp the Woodenbong Hotel, I use it as a base sometimes for rides in the area.

@@frankseymour4162 You would not have a problem with a 250.
