I would just like to put this here as an update to the Hype Train badges: To get the Gold: You either need to be the person who contributes the most in either subs or bits. The two people that cheer or gift the most will receive the Gold train until the next hype train. To get the Purple: You need to be previous top contributor to a Hype Train, the purple train is a permanent badge.

What if the badges or not popping up I did the twitch prime and the pledge badge but they are not popping up
Most times you need to equip the badge. On the chat you are in you should see a option to change appearance

You do not need to pay. It’s just a pledge saying you won’t be toxic
