I needed this tutorial, you have no idea! I fell into a retail florist job and I am greener than a ruscus but I already love the creative aspect of the job ( burned out graphic designer here). I learned on the fly how to make a bouquet from some supportive co workers but I felt something was off about them. Thank you for making this, I'll try this next time! If you don't mind me asking, how do you design with babies breathe?
Ciara Jones Aw thank you so much that means a lot!! I got all my flowers from Trader Joe’s. I got one of there $12.99 bouquets and a pack of eucalyptus and made a bouquet out of the flowers that were in the pack
@@Flowersbyalexis ohhhh! Okay! I just bought a whole bunch of flowers from publix (3 bunches for $12) and I like to dry them, but I would like to practice bouquet design too. I just had an interview at my local flower shop, per your advice soooo🤞🏾
Hey, so the "tap" is to just a guide to help you create that "X" when crossing your stems together to make a bouquet. When you "tap" you get that perfect 45 degree angle to place the flower into the bouquet with. This also helps air and movement between the flowers so your bouquet isn't clumped together tightly
I typically like to put dark colors in deeper and light colors at the top, putting flowers on different heights and levels helps create the "garden style" look
Yes! Please make more videos like this! Maybe using different methods
Will do!
I like that you don't feel to expert and you're just enjoying what you do. It inspires me hehe :)
