I love everything about your videos Job! You have a job that some of us can only dream about, enjoy it as much as you can, you are still so young! Please try to convince plotter to bring another limited cover like the cover with the writing on it! And travelers company to please bring the travelers notebook “Town” cover, and to please make/sell enough! People keep selling these limited covers way too expensive! They are feeding the sharks and they take advantage of us poor crazy people that loves the brands! I’m still looking for the green cover (anniversary edition) I was getting radiation when it came out and I couldn’t buy it, then it was sold out. Now I can find it. It’s like a frustrating thing! Love you Job, also your voice and laughs are so nice and relaxing! Thank you!
Aww thank you so much, that’s so kind! Unfortunately all the limited items like the 5th anniversary PLOTTER are out of my control. PLOTTER AND TRC are super strict about their limited edition item. Once they’re gone, they’re gone unfortunately!I hope you find them on the secondary market at a good price. My biggest piece advice is to get the limited items at release. Even if they sell out during their initial release, the limited items are usually stocked within the same year they are release. After that they will be hard to find!

I am doing some work for a company that has a very specific brand look -the image, tone, etc. I think the way to succeed in your job where there is a very tight corporate image is simply to understand and differentiate between when you are doing your own stuff and can express your unique voice, and when you are working for someone else and need to channel their vision/voice. I actually made some notes, beyond brand guidelines, of what I notice gets approval and what doesn't. And then try to adapt my work accordingly. Also, you seem to be really missing human companionship. Give it time, but if you realize this job is isolating you and feels counter to your innate desire for human interaction, perhaps give it a rethink.
Very nice video! I have been using TN for 8 years and recently tried to switch to a Filofax, but it's bulkiness (especially in a pocket size) is what keeping from doing that. I have heard that plotter mini is like my good trusty passport TN (but on steroids). Need to try it as well one day
I absolutely cracked up at your comment re: putting too much food on your tray when you pay at the end. I had a flashback to the time I went to Hanamaru Udon and locals were staring at us b/c of how much extra food we got (oden, tempura, fried tofu) besides our noodles lol. It all looked so good and we paid at the end of the cafeteria-style bar.

White hairs=character, distinguished! You're growing everyday with your new work. Every rejection teaches you something new about yourself. Hang in there and don't take it too personally. This job is a good way for you to explore more in depth your various talents and helps you stretch!
You really do have a very creative journal technique. I mainly draw on Autocad all day, but I try to draw by hand a bit each day although I am not good at figure or life drawing. ☕ 🌳. ps. couldn't find the wood emoji so i figured a tree would work.😉
