The Varekai icarian games are just one of the most perfect on Cirque. The joy, the talent, Mathieu Lavoie’s voice, the atmosphere, the costumes,... just wow 🤩
I consider the Cirque du Soleil to be an amazing art form. These productions are beautiful, highly entertaining and often mesmerizing. The performers are talented and highly skilled. I am always delighted to see and hear them.

I was lucky to catch Varekai in LA....what a spectacular show.Along with all their other shows ive seen...i will never forget that Cirque brought happiness and joy to me whenever i stepped into their tents or theatres.And for 2 hours i can leave my problems outside.
What a wonderful show, I'm enjoying all this musical, acrobatic talent, everything. Thank you for helping me to escape with my mind and to be able to enter for 60 minutes in a world so free, full of colors, joyful and fantastic.

Varekai and Quidam are my top favorites, from the performances to the music. I was finally lucky enough to see a show live thanks to my wonderful family and watched KA in Vegas and it was one of the greatest experiences I could have. Thank you for giving us these magical performances for so long. May Cirque Du Soleil live on forever
What I love is that all the songs are actually done on stage by the performers and not recordings. And they are some of the most amazing singers I've ever heard!! Thanks so much for posting these, as I doubt I'll ever have the money to see a show in person.

These 3 are my all time favorite ....original artist and singer are THESE best...I have all these on DVD even in old format 4:3 TV...Hopefully Cirque du Soleil will release this in Blueray soon
I don’t know which one I saw 20 yrs past..it was the best thing I’d ever seen. I didn’t want to leave but you Know you gotta leave so I left but I really didn’t want.. So I hugged them good bye individually. Even the lighting crew got hugs... I even went to the Denny’s across the street and hugged workers and customers.. they all understood after explaining.. then I went to the Central Park and cried my eyes out staring at some doves that were eyes my donut Normally I would share but I need all the hugs from that donut that was the only thing comforting me and lo and behold one of the character from soleil Had forgot to take of their makeup so obviously I recognized her. First she denied having snything to do with the organization and Ofcourse I pursued to eventually get another one! that she’s a clown so I decided to go with her to make sure without saying so..we have not (not) been together since that day... sorry for my d+ script but I’m working on it
51:15 Still makes me cry. I remember as a little boy I would sing this when life wasn't very good or when I couldn't sleep. I'm 32 now and its still a dream of mine to run away with the Cirque and help bring a beautiful musical moment to life.
Paid $120 for a seat in Houston DEC 2021, drove pass a huge tent and my gf and I looked it up. We swung back around and bought tickets, we're quite sporadic. Definitely on the pricey side, Vegas entertainment prices. The theatric showcase with the aerobatic was great, didn't see anyone mess up and it was on point. For that, I give it a 5/5. If I had to include the seat price, I would give it a 8/9 out of 10 because it is pricey. I think if they made it cheaper and had much more seats. They could still make the same amount of money if not MORE. I want to say the people there said there was 2000 seats and about 85% of those seats were bought out. So I think they could do 5000 seats and price the price down some. It would give them more exposure too with word of mouth as well. Overall, I wasn't upset about it as I love doing aerobatics also. To combine it in a theatre with great acting is something else, takes character. I think for an average person, the price point is high.

I have a lot of history with Cirque and it breaks my heart that everything is paused. And a lot of family history with Quidam. You can do it Cirque!
I really wish that they would adapt VAREKAI into a full length feature film. It's very simple. Icarus falling from the sky can easily be a pilot making an emergency landing in a remote part of a forest. Icarus breaking his legs represents the plane which has no more landing gear. If you attach a mood to each act, then you can see a potential skeleton for a story arc. "I walk the Earth, touch the sky... I am the angel in your mind."
