Kinda boring IMO. I used to do that too before I realized that brands aren’t important if you don’t know the mechanics of the car itself. Anybody can look up a model name.
I love how Rockstar just changes the cars, enough to not break copyright, yet somehow get so close to the real life vehicles, is utterly amazing.
Rockstar must have a deal/contract with those brands to make them this way.

L.A Noire had actual manufacturer names and models in game. Rockstar more than likely has something worked out with auto manufacturers, for the likenesses of the cars to be used.

Hey man, just FYI, in the auto shop you can use pearl over classic paint. Doesn't have to be metallic. Opens up some more interesting color options that aren't so overly bright.

Having owned this body of mustang, they most definitely handle like a sports car and are a blast to drive on curvey roads
Are they fast with bolt ons? Or how much does it take to make one fast??? Im actually looking to buy a new edge mustang GT in the near future hopefully, but I hate how they only have 260 hp from the factory.
@@voss456 if you want fast go terminator or Mach 1, GT sounds amazing but they are dogs. That being said for it to have some pep you could get a GT for around $6k (where I live) and procharge it and make some decent power. I had one and sold it for a 2011 GT

@@voss456 I cannot express how much of a difference it is, I loved the lower notes of the 4.6 but the raspiness of the 5.0 is right up there with it
@@voss456 260hp is more then enough to have fun in. I got a 4000lb silverado with 190hp (due to the mileage) and that thing is still fun to swing around and accelerate

I remember this car fondly, childhood nostalgia. Not in too many racing games these days, but back in the early 2000's racing game scene, this was pretty cool. Gran Turismo 3, Test Drive Overdrive and NFS Hot Pursuit 2 were showcases for it.
Gran Turismo 3 was where I learned of and fell in love with this Mustang.
Grew up on need for speed hot pursuit 2. It introduced me to a lot of cars that are still my favorite today. Like the Lambo murcielago.

I found myself having a hard time customizing this car since I feel like the stock parts look best for the most part. I ended up going with the nfs edition SVT COBRA R from nfs hot pursuit 2. Also great vid early as always 😂

@@mraero01 i changed the exhaust to the side exhaust, chose the same front bumper option as DCA but I chose the smooth rear bumper

For anyone wondering, they added covers to the tail lights like that to give you the option to match the tail lights from the 94-95 Mustang.
I'm personally a fan of them but I do wish they would've made those separate as well.
Definitely gonna pick this car up, this is one of my favourite Fords and it’s looking to be a king of muscle, so I’ll get a lot of use out of it besides looking so cool

Best way to guess whats coming is by looking at whats available to test drive at the car meet
To the people wondering how Rockstar can make this look identical to the Cobra R, the bodies themselves are not copywritten, the emblems are.
You are are correct to a certain degree. Some manufacturers are very particular of how likeness of their cars are used in games like GTA. Ford and GM are a bit more lenient (the dominators, corquette, etc.) while Ferrari is very anal about a car looking like theirs without a major body change.

This is the car I've been waiting for. Seriously, I may not care much about Fords, but to me the mid 90's to early 2000's Mustangs are the most iconic cars from my childhood. My Aunt had a 95 (I think) red Mustang convertible when they were new. My cousin has it now (he bought it off of her when she got a new one in 2005) and I have a feeling that he's going to eventually give it to his son. But this style of Mustang is what I grew up knowing. I'm VERY happy that Rockstar FINALLY added it to the game.
I got the car when it came out. I made it look like the Saleen but I made it metallic black w a racing green pearlescent it looks really nice in the light. But love the vids I always watch u before I go and buy something or what’s new during the week like discounts and such
I kinda wish it had more mods with how much the new edge's had mods, and wish it had a regular GT bumpers, but I guess what can you do

Thank you for changing your pronounciation of "ASP" to one letter at a time; just like any other vehicles in the game with a 3 letter designation at the end of the name. It drives me nuts when ppl pronounced it as a word like "wasp", that doesn't sound right at all.

Im not a mustang guy but it looks so similar to the real version that it has instantly turned into my favorite car. This without mentioning the engine mods.
Bought it as soon it released amazing, tried making a 04 terminator build with it.
I’ve been trying to buy a Terminator Cobra, but all the prices are expensive. Assuming it’s a “My wife told me the car has to go, so I set an unrealistic price to tell her tried.” situation with Cobras. That and the used car shortage ain’t helping.
@@JimmyDean59 The Terminator prices have really been skyrocketing ever since around August 2020. In the previous years before that they had kind of leveled out for a while. Just a couple months ago a 700 mile Mystichrome Terminator sold at auction for $72K and it was a vert so if it was a coupe it would've went for much more. Last year before the prices went to the moon a 5.5 mile, Torch Red, 10th Anniversary coupe with all the factory wrapping on it went up for sale and they were only asking $76K back then. Now, that same car would most likely be worth 6 figures.
@@JordanSVT If you want a cheap Terminator Cobra, get a Mercury Marauder. It has a Cobra engine in it just like the Crown Vic has a Mustang GT engine.
@@JimmyDean59 It does have a Cobra engine but it has one of the older Cobra engines in it, not a Terminator engine which is a pretty significant upgrade over the older Cobra engines. Although, I was looking at one of those Lincoln MKVIII's, they also have the older Cobra engine in them, it was in beautiful condition, fairly low miles too and they were only asking $8K for it! Looking back it might have been a good idea to jump on that deal but I got a nice truck instead.
@@JordanSVT The Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauders all have excellent engines. You can find them for cheap (people see them as rebadged cars) and they made so many of them that they are everywhere.

I don't know why but every time I see this car it brings back my childhood of the GT on Gran Turismo that one particular mustang GT they brought out as a special edition that GT Cobra was badass and this car reminds me of that particular game I'm glad Rockstar finally decided to step it up cuz I was about to let it go

Not even joking when I first saw the thumbnails for your tuner update uploads I legit thought they were modded cars with how closely they resemble their real life counterparts. I hope one of these days we finally get the foxbody Uranus added. It's funny that it's in the original files for this game and you can see it's corpse all over, it's been nearly 10 years AND it's a car that's loved AND its a car that's well known for people customizing and yet we still don't have it ☹

I built up mine to resemble the S281 of the same year, this was my most anticipated car of the update and I'm so happy the full stable of mustangs is finally in gta, well minus the foxbody :(

Hell yeah I bought this car right away. Kinda upset the supercharger isn't as loud as the 03 svt cobra terminator supercharger but still it sounds good and damn the customization is insane
Fun fact: if you want to go for an identical saleen s351 build, go for the aggressor front bumper and the aggressor mk2 rear end (like DCA said was cool) and the primary drag spoiler. The chrome supercharger adds the cherry on top and finish it off with a metallic grace red or the metallic yellow. Definitely worth it.
