I don't really understand why they made it an entirely new car instead of just making it bennys or new customization to the dukes similar to the futo and eclipse a few years ago

I know it's 3 years late, but it's absolute dogwater they do this than to just update the older duke to have the customization. Literally the same as the JB700w being it's own car instead of updating the old JB700 to have the guns, ot the astron-astron custom thing.
I just love how the Beater is so accessible for everyone. It could’ve easily gotten a price tag well over $1,000,000. If it was a Benny’s car it totally would’ve been. So thank you, Rockstar for remastering the Dukes. 👍👍 Personally I own 5 versions. Toretto’s Charger (Fast & Furious 1), the General Lee, a blacked out Restomod, a custom midnight purple street rod, and a junkyard Demolition Derby build.
6:01 Man, I wish RockStar added such customize option to EVERY car with such beater and awful interior. Here are examples: Bravado Rat Loader, BF Injection, Albany Emperor (Rusty), Karin Rusty Rebel and so on.
Love to see a clean Injection and a clean non-lowriders version of the Voodoo, also love to see the rusty Virgeo back, also the clean Rebel should have the same customisation to it's rusty variant, also I want a Cavaclade FXT with two models like the normal ones, so yeah

Yamaha Guy17 it’s kinda good, it’s slow until you upgrade it, all it has is bumpers and roof rack options, the only problem with it is when you get custom rims they stick out quite a bit
It’s pretty cool how it comes stock with the beaten up look, so you could go sorta sleeper with more customization then the original dukes or repaired and modern
damn my dad had a 69 charger project car that he fixed up from being demolished to the dukes of hazzard for almost a year and a half. im gonna buy this and send him a picture
Rockstar needs to add a lot more options for this car! It would really be nice to have the front without the headlights and have the ability to change it from a Charger to the Barracuda the same as we can change the ‘71 Challenger in the game to a Superbird/Daytona, It would also be really cool to see a Plymouth ‘69 GTX variant!

Something that I think you should highlight is that after however many years of this game being out there is now a way to call a new car without blowing your current one up. There is a return to storage feature in the options menu like the same way you can with the mobile bases which is the best thing they’ve added this update imo even tho it’s so small and simple
I'm a Charger nerd, and I mean a proper nerd. I bought 5 of these before even customizing them, they're all done up like classic 70s muscle cars, jacked up at the back, low at the front, fat tyres and the breaking stance. Love this car!

I wish they just added this as a treasure hunt/collectable item you find somewhere around Blaine County. Even if you had to search and collect pieces like the alien car in story mode. Then you could get it started and take into Los Santos Customs to customise.
Those wheels you chose are my number one wheels in the game. I always try to switch up the wheels when customizing a new car and I always fall back on those, they’re so good looking

@OwO Nuzzles Just get a pc and you don’t have to deal with bs console subscriptions. Also, you can get guardian on pc so you don’t have to deal with anyone or hackers and have a constant solo public lobby and do all your grinding in peace.
I think they did this so that the Roadkill fans can make their own version of the General Mayhem, as they have one like this in 5M rigged up almost exactly like it using the same model and everything.

It’s kinda cool to build a car from the ground up, I bought it and it’s definitely worth it, and it’s cheap compared to other new dlc cars

I think the smashed body isn't actually damaged but looks that way stock so if you crash it more it makes it more of a beater
