AR desperately needs a complete rework. This is coming from someone who slammed 100+ hours of keys on beta as AR. AR tickles that itch of a tree that gives us a more sustained amount of dmg and prio… but it’s just such a horrid design atm. Revolving around souls is awful (imagine combo points that have to fly through the air, and then land, and then you have to spend a cooldown to activate them or run to them). You only do damage when thrill of the fight is up (feels awful), and when you do it’s mid anyway, AND it’s clunky as hell to activate. I could rant forever After playing enhance shaman, AR just feels like an awful version of stormbringer. (Tempest = reaver’s Glaive). Dear Blizzard, If a full rework isn’t on the cards, please: - make thrill activate when you THROW the Glaive. - if a target dies with reaver’s mark you get a refunded Glaive / souls. - Reaver’s Glaive as a cooldown instead that gets CDR based on how many souls are GENERATED (not consumed).
I desperately want AR to be reworked. It legit feels fun to throw those glaives, but it's so heavily penalized but not generating souls. Would be nice to play something new as DH, as fel scarred is pretty much big standard DH with a few more green explosions
you don't have to pick up the souls, going over 5 will just automatically consume them for veng, at least, thrill is almost 100% uptime. it feels really good rn for vdh, idk about havoc tho
I agree that AR needs a serious rework, I actually like the idea of using Throw Glaive in the rotation but this implementation sucks. I play havoc in raid but tank for my M+ group. I actually prefer AR to FS for Vengeance due to the extra tankiness.
I think I’m the only one who’s ecstatic about this…been trying to play inertia AR since launch Also, Warblade’s Hunger stacks, so imagine this: you hunt, Immo+FR, RG, BD, CS, collect 5 souls (130k on top of CS), Immo, VR+EB+FR+Ess.B+BD+CS. If you take Chaos theory, you’ll have the following modifiers on that last CS: x1.18 Inertia x1.80 Ess.B x1.20 TotF x(1.096) from KYE assuming CS crits, hence chaos theory and CS after BD) x(CS base damage + 130k Warblade’s Hunger) …hello 3 mil CHAOS STRIKE!
Unfortunately the "stacks" of Warblade's Hunger don't work as you would expect. Try getting 5 stacks and see how much extra damage you actually do by looking at the combat log in game
i completely understand that. and agreed in the past. but the current inertia flow feels really smooth. id recommend giving it a shot if you havent in a while
I enjoy the movement playstyle, however when you run harder keys like Seige and can’t use your movement buffs because there’s fking bananas everywhere it starts to piss me off.
@@Kurt_Monk Zooming around feels great aslong as you have room to do it but as soon as you end up in tight areas such as second boss intermission in Ara kara or Last boss in grim batol it feels and plays like absolute ass
@The0nlyy Yea I did lfr and a few dungeons and it's like, I'm gonna retreat off the side or in a damn hole, it's annoying, I have to fel rush sideways, I'm not feeling it lol.

I dont get why Aldrachi has so many physical damage components when DH's are so focused around fire/chaos damage in everything else. It feels great to invest in mastery knowing your fel scarred damage is going to be boosted with all your other damage
AR needs to activate Reaper's Glaive at 5 souls and there needs to be something in the tree that makes us passively throw glaive again or perhaps allow Reaper's Glaive to ignore armor.
Aldracgi Reaver 606 ilvl 36% crits 35% mastery 10% vers Personnal Talents: I get gaped by 20k dps from a guy who is 619 Bis items trinkets and talents. Playing Felscarred. The Boss ? Ovinax. 40 to 60k dps gap on Silk Court (He has Queens trinket and Ring I don't) Play whatever homies at the end of the day it's just a player gap
As someone who hates waiting 45 seconds to do damage, I’m hoping the AR buffs make it an option that rewards high uptime on targets… pressing buttons fast enough is not an issue for me
I am only just coming back to DH and it feels quite weak, eye beam and blade dance still feel satisfying but the rest does not feel impactful, empowering fel rush used to increase its damage by 400% once upon a time, now, its like 20%? I appreciate the base damage has gone up a little but it feels weak. I feel like I am hitting mobs with noodles outside of damage windows.
Looked good on paper.... but I've never used it before, this video is proof of how crap it really is. TY :) Saved me a lot of time testing it out myself.
Hey Jedith i was wondering why for F-S u not taking the Eyebeam nodes + Cycle of Hatred, because when u combine Sigil of Flame with Eyebeam they do so much dmg on Single Target, and last but not least what about the inmolation aura buffs and 4% for PvP i now ur not a pvp guy but still ill really apreciated your opinion sensei

AR should have more throw glaive bonuses, tempest, etc. focus more on using the weapon than movement.
I want to love DH but all the moving to do the "efficient" damage always turned me off from the class.

Important reminder for anybody testing AR on their own. That build values crit more and mastery dramatically less since you aren't taking that talent

AT is df s3 tier set at home. Havoc in tww is disappointing and fury warrior too
