But instead he's confident in his assertion that the game sucks and plays horribly is the correct opinion, and every one who disagrees is just blinded by nostalgia, or doesn't understand game design.

So great job everyone getting him that win and putting a lot of money towards a great cause! Edit: $4,175 was how much was donated in total to make it happen
As a Buttlet believer, if such a donation wouldn't have happened had Spantzz not won that part of the bracket, then I can respect the loss all the more.

When I saw Buttlet again I almost teared up. That was one of the first GameGrumps series that I watched in full when it came out and it might still be my favorite to this day. I remember that I was in a really bad place mentally around that time and Grumps was one of the only things I'd watch. It made me laugh and distracted myself from the bs that was going on. I may still be in not such a favorable place today, but looking back it reminds me of how far I've really come and that I'm now finally in control of my life. Thank you guys 💜

Truthfully, Dan and Arin playing these Zelda games and giving so much personality into every link gives me so much serotonin. I watched their play through during some of the lowest points in my life, and they really did help me recover. This was fun! I like it when you guys try new stuff, especially when we get to see your faces. On Discord I saw there was a notion to voice what other mashups we'd like to see in this format. Personally, I'd like to see a competition between the Sonics.
I love the Slurmp animations by Kirby Otaku and Hilda's Airbnb is comedy gold, but Buttlet's expressiveness really brought out numerous great bits and laughs from the Grumps. I know that the camera probably won't be conducive to it in BotW2, but I hope that personality returns.

I have a special place in my heart for Scrumf because of the enemy glitch right when Dan's saying how it should turn around and speed up, and it just keeps on going through the ground.
Is it weird that I'm like, proud of these guys? Idk just something about them having enough content and people who love them to look on past events. Then hold a competition like this. I would be freaking ecstatic if they played The Minish Cap. It is one of my favorite Zelda games. The art style, dungeons, and game mechanics make that entire game so charming to me. Given Arin's relationship with Ocarina of Time prior to the Game Grumps play through, I'd say it was clear Slurmp would win. I think it's the most viewed Zelda series on the channel because _everyone_ was hyped to see it.
And I think a hell of a lot of people just still have a nostalgic affinity for OoT.

Truthfully, Dan and Arin playing these Zelda games and giving so much personality into every link gives me so much serotonin. I watched their play through during some of the lowest points in my life, and they really did help me recover. Knowing that both Dan and Arin actually care about these character two is beyond wholesome in the best way possible. Thank you both for the joy you brought to me and many others with your content and amazing team.

It's fitting that Slurmp and Spantzz were the final Links because Slurmp is canonically Spantzz's father and the one who trained him.
I love the Slurmp animations by Kirby Otaku and Hilda's Airbnb is comedy gold, but Buttlet's expressiveness really brought out numerous great bits and laughs from the Grumps. I know that the camera probably won't be conducive to it in BotW2, but I hope that personality returns.

I have a special place in my heart for Scrumf because of the enemy glitch right when Dan's saying how it should turn around and speed up, and it just keeps on going through the ground.
Is it weird that I'm like, proud of these guys? Idk just something about them having enough content and people who love them to look on past events. Then hold a competition like this. I'd probably cry. Just seems like one of those moments where id be on a far off hill watching them frolic in the meadow and play in the stream, nodding my head ever so slightly saying "good for them" while a single tear runs down my old leathery face.
Butlett should have beaten Spantzz. He would have easily knocked Slurmp out in the final!

I would be freaking ecstatic if they played The Minish Cap. It is one of my favorite Zelda games. The art style, dungeons, and game mechanics make that entire game so charming to me. I'd love it if Dan was the one to play it because he seems to be pretty good at top down games and I think he'd have a lot of fun with it.
